I confess I DID step it up a notch (or two!) and have 14 different species/strains going at the same time! Not quite sure how I'll keep up with all of it. So far I'm managing but most of these projects are still in their infancy.

Species/ variety/ strain
Psilocybin/ PE6 MS/ PE6 isolate
Cat/orange tabby/ Garfield
What species/varieties are you growing? Any of your tubs, in fact, isolated strains?

If you count clones as isolated strains, yes. Otherwise, no.
For cubes: aa+, amazonian, ape, crs, peu, tc, pr, pesh
Stone producers: tampanensis, atl#7
Pan cyan jamaica
Psilocbe cyanescens
Edibles: elm oyster, black morels
Oh yeah, I have wild pan cintilus on agar from ages ago. So 15

Clones are not isolates. 1 mushroom will contain many strains.
Nice assortment man.

Nice. How do those morels treat you?
If the fruit you cloned was from MS, the cloned tissue will usually contain multiple genetics, apparently.

Yup, I agree with that, basically isolating a group of genetics.
And thank you, not sure I'll be able to manage it all. Probably fruit a shoe box or two of each cube, grow some stones, attempt to fruit the pans and stone producers.
I reserve my 64 qt tubs for my pesh clones. One grows looking similar to pe.

I confess I read this entire thread. Not quite sure how I feel about that. Almost feels like I've been peeking in people's windows.
I also confess I currently have nothing going. :'( Kid moved back in and took the only spare bedroom/grow area. Need to get my garage cleaned/rearranged.
Need to get some agar going. Waiting on a couple prints and a swab from kind members. Couple are in this thread I believe.
Thanks for all the great confessions and even some of the way off topic trips through craziness
Last confession, I'm guilty of quite a few things confessed here as well!

Yes, it took quite awhile but there has been some damn good info in this thread. I started the thread in November. Finished it last week or so.
The weirdest part is I feel like I'm good friends with people I don't know and they have no idea either.

Agreed, it's more real when people admit their mistakes, gives you a peek at the fails rather than just bragging about the wins.

I confess that I love to stand between the dehydrators and smell/inhale/absorb the mushroom vapors as they start to get hot and waft about. That first hour or so is awesome! lol
I think I could make a good guess at the variety by the smell of it sometimes. The Costa Ricans are so sweet smelling. The TXPE6 is another fine wine.. And B+ is more mushroomy/earthy..

Hey there all you Shroomy Confessors!
Thank you for your confessions and for making this thread an interesting and vital little aspect of the Shroomery. I appreciate you all.
I confess that when I started this thread I didn’t have any idea how popular (700 pages and counting!) it would be. Keep on being your shroomy selves and sharing here.

I confess I've got the opposite problem as Caps, he's out and I've got so many shrooms I'm not sure why I keep going. Got my first spores 4 months ago and with you guys help I've stored over 2 dry lbs around the area. I'll never eat a kilo even with my friends help. Is the next step edibles? I'm not sure I even like oysters, never had them.

Caps is on the verge of a huge comeback I think.
I had the same "problem" if you want to call it that. Had to bury 2 pounds in a time capsule for when mole men take over the earth. Still can't eat or give away what I grow fast enough.
If you'd like to get into edibles King Oyster is an easy transition and they're delicious. They can be cultivated just like cubes in a shoebox, you just need to get your temp in the 50'sF to trigger pinning. Then back to room temp.
