I confess I'm going to be throwing out about 8 jars of oats colonized with KS. I don't really like the way these have been growing, they aren't producing spores and when I bioassayed them at Christmas they were disappointing. It's probably just the genotypes I am working with since the very first ones I grew looked more like traditional cubes and everything else has came from the same culture taken from them.
I know it's not environmental since other varieties I've been growing have been looking nicer so not sure what else would cause this
So unless someone has a novel idea for spawning 8 jars (its too cold here to scatter in a park btw) they'll be getting fucked out to make way for new varieties I've received over the last couple of months.

Edit: the top tub in the 1st pic looks especially shit because I mixed the spawn with CR and it really didn't do it any favours (the CR didn't fruit in it either )

Ok, OKAY, OHKAAaayee... Since we are all confessing being slack in our myco work... I have not even looked at any of my agar plates or fully colonized jars for about 5 weeks.
My biggest concern is for 6 partial isolations of RustyWhytes that should have been G2G / transferred a month ago and should be fruiting already...

Psilo
@Bumholio. My dude. This would be my objective if I had fruits not dumping spores I'd be trying to clone a nice fruit that's not dumping spores. Try to get one from a cluster. Then when you run that clone in the tubs or boxes to come guess what you don't have to worry about? Spore explosion

I hadn't thought about that mang. Only problem is the potency though. I'm going to bioassay some this afternoon from one of the tubs harvested this morning. If they're the same as before I'm done with them

I believe blue as an indicator of potency to be a fallacy... indicates actives near the surface subject to oxidation, but little else

I confess that I look at the pictures of my tubs when I am out and about - and think about what I need to do when I get home. Some times I show mush pics to my friends and more than one have commented that I show them like they are pictures of my kids! lol
They are
I also confess that I have considered setting up remote viewing via cam and phone app.. so easy..

I still have a bunch dried. I might take a clone from them, now that you mention it
I confess, I'm not sure if the cubes I grow now are EXTRA potent or if the 1st ones I grew were just shit..
