I confess I have 15 jars over colonized. 7 bags over colonized. I've MANY plates in the fridge for "later" because I haven't spent the whole week making oat jars.
Its been slants, prints, harvest and real job...
I also have several edibles that need G2G and G2Substrate.

Lol same, prolly both learning to do Lego and jigsaws while Psilo was learning to grow cubes.
Must've been a good year for us to arrive. Being in the forefront of home mushroom cult must've been a blast. While you were learning to expand your world,I was busy teaching my hippy parents to hide their "smoke-e-joint" a little better.(story is my mom found me behind the recliner with a (cannabis)roach in my mouth when I was 2)

Sometimes I eat way too many grains during the boil to "check if they're done" They just taste so good to me I don't know why.

Depends what the poll is. If it’s on topic for mushroom cultivation post it here.

I’m good with a poll here ... Confessing your age and when you started cultivating and how long you’ve been cultivating would be relevant to this thread topic.
For those who are curious about what “Tek” I used in 1979 - here it is:
http://www.psilosophy.info/resources/Psilocybin.magic.mushroom.growers.guide.pdf
My buddy and I were using the first edition. Oss & Oeric were later revealed to be pseudonyms for Terrace McKenna & his brother Dennis.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terence_McKenna
Here is the first edition cover - I like it much more than later printings

(I’m 55 btw)

That book was my first intro into cult back in '99. My dad tells me that was the only way anyone he knew did it back in the 70s-early 80s(other than outdoor attempts) Back then it seemed like rocket science to me,and I ended up sticking to hunting the fields and soon discovered the PF tek. I had the older cover edition.

Luckily, I had shroomery.org in 2007. Unfortunately, I put it all away until this year.

I confess I can G2g, label, and shake ten jars in under 30mins now. Getting better, and more fluid with my sab work/grain prep. Just prepped some cvg for my monster KSSS clone, going to do some novelty grows as well

I confess my first myco-injury.. I sloshed super hot water on the right side of my chest/stomach area when I was taking jars out of the PC. I was just wearing a thin t-shirt at the time. At least I didn't get the nipple! Hah!
So I have a sunburn looking splotch and it stings.. ugh! Sucks!
Reminder to be careful out there!

I confess, yesterday I was lazy af with myco work. I went for a run Saturday morning and got a few groceries after then led on the sofa shit posting and lurking for the rest of the day.
I have some cakes/bottles to harvest and dry, grain jars to prep, tubs to wash, agar to prep and pour, transfers that need done a few quarts to spawn and a few jars I need to g2g.
It's now 5am Sunday and I'm considering, making a start but I am but I'm thinking I don't want to be in the middle of a PC/drying run when the bin lids come round later so itll have to wait til this evening. Moar shit posting and lurking it is then

Haven't been on this forum in awhile, decided to get back into it with some BRF jars. Got more 1/2pt wide mouth, new verm, new BRF. Pressure/Steamed for 90mins last night. This morning prepped my area, cleaned everything, was all set and ready to go. Heated the needle until red hot and went to inoc my first jar. BAM i drilled my hole ( 1/16 )too small. I can't believe I didn't check the hole size to make sure the needle would fit before I sterilized. Make it even worst, I'm a handyman/carpenter(apparently a shitty one). MEASURE TWICE CUT ONCE. So ill be re drilling the holes and sterling again tonight... dumb ass
Will be making agar plates and going to grain, I just wanted some cakes to get me going.
I know a lot can change in a couple years can anyone tell me are the TEKs in my sig still relevant?
