Anyone have any good reads or links? I'll search for it tomorrow if someone doesn't have something on hand. I'm tired. almost 3 hours in front of a hood and I just took a break from harvesting. back to it!

This users post list contains a lot of work he did with Pan's. MacMerdin is one of our most accomplished pan growers and you REALLY should read his posts.

Thanks MadHatter!
I've been meaning to have another crack at them myself. I made some bottles with straw and oats. They colonized very quickly but couldn't get them to fruit.
I confess,
I threw some in bottles without researching enough. Not realizing they like a shallower substrate...

I wish the recipe for substrate was measured by weight and not volume. I don't know if it means get everything to field capacity, and then % by volume. Thats the only thing I can imagine working. If you look in his Pan Cyan MS 1 he has pictures of his substrate, so that will help me.

I confess I was just tidying up my flowhood area and when I moved my nearly New roll of parafilm I thought to myself... I’m not going to buy this anymore. I’m convinced that cling wrap is easier to work with, serves the same purpose, and it is more reliable (never dries up and cracks open on the Petri dishes).
While I’m at it... I confess that I see virtually no difference in fruiting performance between CVG and CV... so I’m not buying anymore gypsum either.

I confesss. My house is normally around 60% RH and 75f due to the climate. I was too lazy to put polyfill in this tub after I untaped the holes now I'm just curious to see how it'll end up. Aside from pinning on every possible side

I confess. I got really excited when my friend brought me home a 40# bag of Penningtons Classic Wild Bird Seed. Been using some "economy" brand and the slivers of corn in it taunt me at night while I'm trying to go to sleep.

I confess working with a flow hood has been life changing. I'm a little klutzy as it is so pouring plates and doing transfers in the confines of a cloudy, crowded SAB was challenging for me without occasional contams. It's been 20 days since I poured and transferred plates in front of the hood and no sign of contamination. Even with having plates in open air far longer than I ever would in an SAB. It's made this hobby so much more enjoyable.

I confess that I wrote the wrong date on 40 grain jars inoculated last night. Wrote 22/10, should be 26/11. My marker is just about finished. Derp.
