I must confess, this bag of oats is so full of corn it took me 2 hours to pick my 5gal soak clean of them.

I must also confess I've been doing mycowork since 3pm yesterday

I confess I did 16 hours of myco work yesterday and went to bed at 3 am. I was up and back at it at 7 am this morning and I have a long way to go today.

Spawned a 90 qt tub with 5 quarts of Costa Rica PC
Spawned a 90 qt tub with 4 quarts of Cambodian PC
Found, disposed of, and cleaned 9 quart jars of misc varieties that were contaminated
Inspected and sorted the rest of my jars - about 50
Cleaned, cooked, and dried a batch of Oats then PC'd 10 jars
Harvested, cleaned, dehydrated, and cleaned again a (10th) flush of B+ PC
Made my first batch of agar which turned out kinda shitty lol
- 10g agar, 10g potatoe flakes, 10 ml caro, and the grain water from cooking oats.. I still poured 16 pasty plates just to practice in the SAB. Did I mention that new slimline 500ml media bottle kickin' ass! Heh!

Plus just the daily checking/maintenance of my tubs. Misting and making sterile water to mist with..

Todays batch of agar is going to be 10g agar  grain soak water (Oats).. o shit I forgot to add the caro.. and it's in the PC now.. ugh!! I've got 4 petris with growth that need to be transferred to new plates today.

Another confession: I bought some premade dishes to get started with a few weeks ago. I've got my first sleeve of 20 new dishes to pour and use today.

And another confession: I have forgotten to buy the frkn food coloring at the store at least 4 or 5 times now!

I've already cooked another batch of oats this morning and they are drying. PC getting a workout again today!
Going to do some G2G action in the SAB this evening when things cool down.

I just heard the click of the pressure plug dropping down on the PC.. Got to go check my agar bottle!

I must confess..... I think LC has bit me once again.  Had to dispose of 7 spawn bags that showed no signs of life.  Like the LC was dead.

Then I come home tonight and check on my tubs...... 3 out of 7 of my PE tubs developed green spots on the Sides or bottom. My pasturized jiffy mix is doing great tho.

I confess that I came home to a contam in a mini mono and in my 1000ml beaker. I think they were the same jar though. I've really gotta start labeling my tubs

Girlfriend asks "What are all these jars, how come you have so many shoeboxes?"
My answer "Nothing to see here just a small scale Shiitake grow  "

Hehehehehe.

That reminds me,

I confess I tricked myself.

When I first started growing cubes I was paranoid. Of both losing my culture and growing cubes.

I labeled a master slant 'shiitake'. I found it a month ago and was like what!? Where did that shiitake come from!?

Yeah I think I'm done with LC too. When I started I made LC's of everything so I have a lot tying up jars. I may be over pouring but my success rate is pretty low. I need to get into slants for long term storage.

I confess that as I type this I'm an old school stoner that has a good job for 25 years and a corporate wife that loves me for who I am. 6 feet away from me are 20 or so plates, half a dozen shoeboxes, 20 jars and another outdoor building with regulated temperatures for whatever I want to do. My most recent project is a flowhood I'm going to spend as much time as I want to on. Life is really good. I wish the same for all of you mushbuds.

Lol she goes to the gym 4-5 times a week so I can't fall off. I'm pretty active so I'm still holding it together but thank you. This is really a testament to my wife she's awesome.

I admit it's very likely I won't have a scale by the time harvest comes,
I also admit I'm a little excited to jump into the unknown consuming un-weighed doses.

I confess that last week, a female friend of mine wanted some mushrooms so I gave her some out of a tub that came from an isolate I myself hadn't tried yet.

I inadvertently gave someone with very little experience with psychedelics 3.5gs of what are easily the most potent cubes I've ever produced. She wigged out a little bit and I feel kinda bad.
