I confess, last time I prepped grain I was frying balls and running put of time. I was trying to make sure i yad jars and lids ready before even starting it, and i was too high for that high level thinking so i ended up just being like Fukkit, ill cross that bridge when it comes, boiled everything, spilling a fair amount in the process i had an epiphany of how privledged we are to be able to spill grain. I bet that used to be punishable.
My grain ended up perfect with exactly 10 jars

Thanks, but I keep having issue with my clone transfer . I had one that looks really good on the first transfer. Then on the second and third transfer it looks.... weird. Strong Rhizo on the first transfer, Kinda weak and cottony on the 2nd transfer. Cant figure it out.

It could just be luck. Genes play a roll too. Is it a different recipe for each transfer?

The good run (Clone) was put onto potato agar. Transfers were onto MEA. I'm cooking more of both and checking to make sure its not the type of agar it happens to prefer.
The MEA I poured was poured a little light, because the first ones that I transferred to MEA was the same cottony mycelium at full strength. Im pretty sure its not contamination, the original petri dishes were relatively clean other than some bacteria and one had some green mold in it.
