I confess working with a flowhood gives me much more motivation to get things done than using the SAB did. Transfers, inoculations, spawning, casing, sub cooking and jar cleaning. Long night ahead

I've said it before and I'll say it again. I have a deep love and respect for the community here. I don't know why you all are here, but I am on mission. I'm not religious at all, but I believe in the work we are doing here.

Thats why its called Mush Cult not Mush acquaintances
I confess; I'm thinking of getting something like a reptile heating pad My room is way too cold, on average 15-18C and its making everything take an eternity to colonise. I have spawn done on the 7/7 that I shaked last week that is taking its sweet ass time to recover, plates that are still dime sized after 11 days, and some bought oyster sub that took too long to colonise and has contamintated on the bottom (Thinking of saving some myc on plates).
I'm thinking, new room heater (my current one is too small) and a heating pad for my stack of totes hooked up to an arduino and a few sensors to keep it smart.
On the bright side , none of my plates done for my nute comparison has contaminated, thats like 40 plates done well. Might be too early to tell but still.

I confess that when I bought a case of 300 Petri dishes I thought it was ridiculous and that it would take forever to get through it...
Less than a year later Iβm opening my last sleeve of twenty!

Before a heat pad, I would try a space heater for the room or a TiT incubator if need be. Either of those will distribute and maintain the heat better than a pad will. Pads got a way of cooking jar bottoms

Confession: throwing away PP plates when sterilizing goes wrong sucks big time, but repeated use out of proper sterilization cycles really does feel nice! And I'm never like "Shit, this is my last sleeve". Gotta love reusable stuff.
