Biggest oh shit moment was when some alcohol ran down my glove, down the scalpel, into the blowtorch and then set my hand on fire. It flared out in a second and since I have no arm hair I lost nothing but my pride. But now I pay close attention to the way I hold my scalpel when flaming it.

the worst part was I didn’t realize it was happening for a while. My SAB had poor visibility and the alcohol flame wasn’t putting out much light so it was a bit warm then really fucking hot before I realized what was happening and jerked my hands out. Everything I was doing in that session was toast!

(Yes I now know not to flame my scalpel IN the SAB)

This right here is why I use clorox wipes

I confess that taking 2 tabs of acid then trying to prep WBS jars and transfer agar at that same time.... Fuck no... what a shit weekend, left the wbs too long and it turned into this gooey mess. That shit came on too strong and too fast.

Shanked myself in the center of my palm with a pick while poking holes in lids... it’s what I deserve for trying to talk on the phone and do it at the same time all while drinking beer. Shit crippled my hand for a few days lol

Still have a 3 inch scar on my forearm from when I banged two jars together while shaking them up and one busted and sliced me. Looks like that one is gonna be around for a good while, and that was 6 months ago

And they say mushroom growin ain’t dangerous work..

I confess I just pinned my sterilizer @ 30psi, steam comin out the back-up release, for probably about 30 minutes.

I think these oats are gonna be toasted. Not sure if I should wait out the next hour, or just shut it off and go to the bar.

I spent months trying to cultivate syringes that i  found out were contamed. Meticulously checking all my steps and trying to figure out what went wrong... Now I've learned to use agar.

The other day I was all freaked out. Thought my 25x was shitting out because it wasn’t getting up to pressure even with the heat turned up all the way. Turned out there was only a half inch of water in it

I confess one of my agar plates was covered with a film of bacteria. It is slightly lighter in color and more opaque than the agar so I didn't notice it when I put it in my SAB. Luckly I only had a few plates with that one... Theyre all contaminated now.

I confess I used hot water for the syringe supposed to nocc up my 4 pf jars with. A day later I read about how that should have killed the spores, which I could have easily deduced.

They're turning out okay anyway, look for yourselves:

I also confess that I don't really like tripping on mushrooms right now, which is mostly due to the extremely exhausting come down and respiratory complications that set in at the peak, meaning I'll probably not eat any for as long as I keep smoking cigarettes.

Try microdosing! It is very calming. Easy on the body and mind.  I get anxiety when I smoke weed... but if I microdose I have no anxiety.

Once I’m no longer working nights I’m going to start microdosing in the afternoons occasionally. I can’t do it right now because if I microdose after I get home I won’t be able to sleep. Got about 2 more weeks of working nights and then it’s finally back to normal.

I confess that i fell asleep while hydrating rye. Over cooked it and burned rye bottom layer a bit. Used them anyway, just with a sprinkle of vermiculite to soak up excess moisture....Will see how they fare.

I've been considering micro dosing once or twice, and anxiety release sounds perfect to me. Do you actually notice the shrooms the day you're taking them? Or is it more of a slight change in subconsciousness? Maybe I'll try next week, now that I'm 'close' to restocking my stash.

How much would I take, and what's the best way of administration? Just chew on 0.2g?

I have very little experience. People usually say .2 as a starting spot. Personally I had some 3.5g truffles and I split them into 10. That “micro” (.35) was enough to give me some light tracers. I was hanging out with a friend and stream of consiness was better, anxiety was better, I noticed a lot more stuff in my environment... more curious.

The next day I had good mood, no hangover. Then I split another truffle into 12ths. That was a good dose for me. Able to focus better, no one would notice I’m “high”, but I had similar benefits.

I must confess, i was excited like a little school girl all day.  Breaking in the flowhood last night, pouring a sleeve of plates has me Myco-pumped.
