LGT? Got some jars of that in the works too

I confess I’m about to do my first ever G2g transfers today. Will be starting with my Cambodian jar and Wednesday I will be doing my CRS clone jar. Have to space them out because of work and all, booo.

MadHatter, I tried G2g once and most fucked up, and I've been too scared to try since. Best of luck, just be mindful and I'm sure you'll do fine. Post your results:hehehe:

Was it because of bad spawn or technique?

I feel good about it. We shall see how they turn out. I just finished them now and will post results once they start colonizing nicely or horribly lol. Hopefully I did it right.

Technique, the spawn (Oyster) was from a reputable local vendor.

Now that I think of it, I think I did 2 batches, the first was fine, from the vendor. the second was my own spawn. So it could have been my spawn, as it was cubies, but I bulked the other jars from that batch and they came out fine. This was like a year ago.

I'll give G2G another go if I have the spawn to spare (ironic) but for now I'm swimming in LI/LC so its not too high on my to-do list.

I hear LI/LC is the way to go because you can knock up more jars than g2g. I may have to try that at some point too.

Don’t let one failed attempt turn you away from it though. If you have LI/LC I can see why you don’t do g2g.

You can spawn slight bacteria, g2g will be doomed of you do

I smelt my master jar after the g2g and it smelt a little odd. Hopefully it wasn’t bacterial. Still had the mushroom smell. Maybe it was the bird seed smell

No shit Manifoldprime aka sherlock.:smirk: Guess you missed the part about me having to go away for 5 days so that explains a lot captain obvious. There's always a critic. They were scheduled to finish before I left but didn't so I was like fuck it and they look hella good for just sitting neglected in a shoe box. The other few tubs that started were not as successful because of lack of FAE but I just plucked the premature ones and got them ready and the 2 APE tubs are looking hella fine and knotting up nicely. Just set them to fruit. Going to be a productive batch. Probably the best one yet. Can't wait to culture my best fruits for LC so I can clean up the genetics.

And not much guys. Just went to my first big week long burn festival in the mountains. Best and most challenging thing I've ever put myself through. I made lots of intimate connections and new friends. Glad it was a smaller local burn or I would have missed the fuck out of these people. Getting off the meds and doing physical therapy plus housing stability is doing wonders for me. P.S. I may disappear from here for a bit again. No need to be alarmed. I'm just having fun. :loveheart:

I confess that while I was tripping hard last night, I'd watch Dunkirk and then in an act of documentary/meme making brilliance, recorded the last few minutes of the film on my phone with very unsteady hands...and then send it to a load of my friends. This morning I had a big cringe although im convincing myself it's quite funny.

I think it's more likely to be technique or grain prep.
