I confess that this is only my second post, and that I have not even attempted my first grow yet , but I have spent relatively way too much time on this site reading about it. Also, this thread is dope

I confess, I am happy I decided not to use a liner! Love watching mycelium colonizing the substrate in my first bulk unmodified tub. Such a beautiful thing!

I confess, I do agar work just about every day now.
Second confession, I'm reading "A wrinkle in time" books I enjoyed as a kid, trying to get into touch with the side of myself I lost when I got my first job. Moons ago.
Edit: damn 3rd confession..
I just opened a jar of hpoo tea/grainwater that I neglected to put into the fridge this whole week. I opened it up, and it beats any bad jar I've opened.
I feel like I just stuck my nose in a horses ass.

My mom read Wrinkle in Time to my brother, my sister, and I. Good times. I took my mom and sister to see the movie and my mom about cried. Unfortunately my brother wasn’t in town.
Gotta love them ripe jars! Savor the moment!!!

Isnt is so that fully dried mycelium can be revived when it gets wet? Ive heard this is what happens every spring and would also be an idea for fully colonized but dried grow kits where you just have to add water.

Mushroom necromancy is real. Yes it does happen in nature but to what extent I couldn't tell you.
There are threads on this forum of people reviving dried mycelium. Do some searching. They're there.

Haha most of those threads end like this(not my pic/work)

Got any successful links tigre?
Id argue that any real result could be curropted by spores on the dried tissue. Those can easily germinate on soft agar.

These king blocks were from last October...they froze solid over the winter and then were completely dehydrated by spring. I soaked them completely, 3 weeks prior to these pics:

I confess I just passed out smoking a blunt in the middle of a PC cycle two nights ago and left the jars rollin all night...I woke up in a panic ran over to the stove and turned off the heat. I estimate the jars were in there for five + hours...
Plastic lids melted into the grain and grains were burnt straight black. Bad news I have to start from scratch for my next round of jars, good news is I didn't blow up or set my place on fire....
