Hmm I'd be curious to see if there's any difference in your cubes, probably haven't noticed or don't mind the smell.

The first time I dried cubes I set up the dehydrator and left to get some food. Came back maybe 25min later and the stink was so thick I had to push through it to get in the kitchen

Moved the dehydrator to the garage.

I've gotten used it it. Kinda.

Shiitake sometimes grosses me out. I confess after I first grew shiitake I almost stopped because the smell is so overpowering and it affected my desire to eat them

Hey man that's awesome!  I just started spinning poi about 4 months ago and I spun fire once and really loved it.
I love flow arts and all these amazing festivals and music.  EDM like psytrance, medium-tempo basstrance and good trap music has really changed how I think and act.  It has cured my severe depression and  paranoid schizophrenia and I'm gonna start making it.
I Just bought a launchpad pro and I have a good mac, the main thing that's stopping me is I don't have a full version of Ableton live 9  and can't afford a $600 software program just to get started!  I'm using the trial version right now and know for sure now that this is the program I want....

sweetwater offers up some nice financing deals - i was able to get live 10 plus push 2 for $39/month for 36 months (ended up working out to ~$18 more than buying it outright, plus my credit gets a boost). was definitely a solid investment in my mental health - way better than expensive premiums and copays for another bad shrink

Using an entire 4cc syringe to inoculate one jar... fail
Buying 12 oz mason jars that had a mouth narrower than the body. A hammer was needed to get the cakes out. I made this mistake twice. Now that I've bought the correct jars I've switched over to bulk so they're just sitting there

Let me get a goat she said. We need dairy.
Then my jars start disappearing.

I'll make you delicious cheeses she said. Which led to this being grown. I feel as if I've sinned.

I'm confused what does culturing mold have to do with making cheese? Lol, buy a cultured enzyme

Blue Vein cheeses also called Blue cheese is a generic term used to describe cheese produced with cow's milk, sheep's milk, or goat's milk and ripened with cultures of the mold Penicillium.

I forgot about blue cheese. Isn't that after the cheese is made though?

I heard this before and it always peaked my interest.

I'm very allergic to penicillin, nearly killed me before but I can eat blue cheese no problem.

It's because pennicillin is a byproduct of penicillum and it takes a lot of processing in order to get it to antibiotic level otherwise your body discards it

You need the mold in addition To the enzyme needed to culture the cheese. You take sterilized kabob sticks poke holes through the cheese. Swab kabob stick through the plate and run through the cheese again to inoculate it, afterwards we coat the cheese in salt to inhibit fungal growth on the outside while allowing the mold to grow through out.

I confess I'm actually really excited to do SAB work after the cheese sesh. I've been a lysol abusing, glove wearing, mask wearing fool. I'm going to start fine tuning my sterIle technique now. Easy to get carried away from the basics when you're struggling to produce clean spawn.

Is it bad I want to try making blue cheese now?? I love blue cheese!! Sleeping with the enemy :dancer:

:facepalm3: So I was doing up some transfers last night with a stack of plates I made a few days ago and twice I wiped the plate down, removed the parafilm, wiped again, grabbed a fresh piece of parafilm and wrapped the unused plate back up and put it in the done pile.... empty........
:facepalm3: I'm blaming the long shift I just worked..... not the big bowl :jah:
