I confess I let my supporter account end and I'm well above my 100 k picture limit so I can't show you all my cool mushrooms anymore. Just old pictures like this:

I confess my other interests include amature taxadermy. Not doing it, so far, just looking at it on pinterest. My favorites are the anthropomorphic sculptures.

I confess I use the search box a lot and find a ton of posts that are detailed and fascinating and many say look at this, and it's a white box, image deleted by user. Some are straight up unlearnable from without thr pics lol... So please if it's a knowledge sharing one keep those pics up, but heck yeah trim the fat
I further confess that was a fascinating two pages to catch up on, personally I think every time a thread goes off topic a bit it's a healthy sign of many people interacting and knowledge being passed
I confess I also learned I can keep my grain sterilized on shelf for "months" and I've been stressed about what if I don't use these jars by friday

I confess I get sad when the cult boards go to sleep, but I'm still up and at work in the middle of the night.

PsiloPsychIn said: I confess ... That as I was banging a quart of burma spawn against my palm this morning and it shattered my thoughts came in this order:
1) Damn all that grain in my greenhouse is going to be a contamination magnet, how will I find every single piece of grain?!
2) I lost a quart of spawn!
3) I should have taken Rodger Rabbit's advise to bang spawn jars against an old tire,
and (as the blood is starting to drip off my hand)
4) Hmmm... wonder what kind of damage I've done to my hand?

wow just saw this and felt like I was having a flashback while reading it...
except it happened to me while using AN OLD BIKE TIRE
Sorry just wanted to emphasize that as a tire can be dangerous if you're not careful(or if angry and tired).
Hitting the rubber works great but I wasn't paying attention and was awkwardly hitting the tire slightly crooked and banging the jar very hard and just barely nicked the rim of the tire causing the jar to smash and slice right through my thumb with a good amount of force. I was lucky it didn't cut it off. lost feeling in most of my thumb and it was a painful healing process because of the nerve damage. It's feeling a lot better these days thinking I'm getting some feeling back or I'm just getting used to it.
I hope your hand is ok and thanks for sharing. you probably have already read and seen my incident before but here it is for anyone wondering.

I confess I remember that pic but didn't know it was you, looks bad man ewww
Bike tires and jars... probably the most stupid and dangerous thing RR came up with. I mean, unless your spawn is bacterial you wouldn't need to do that, it breaks pretty easy with just a few very light taps on your own tigh, putting your hand in between.
