Lol about the order
I wouldn't worry about the kernels you can't find though, they're colonized and even if they weren't they'll dry out very fast to let any shit germinate.

I confess I used dextrose (from my mycology-box) in my coffee this morning because I ran out of granulated white sugar.

I confess just found a cool new way to melt pp5 plastic storage containers. Put it in pressure cooker on high heat with no water works perfect. Stupid me we all got to learn something part of this hobby we chose.

I love my new higher end dehydrator way better than the cheapo Wal-Mart one I bought when I first started out
But the new dehydrators door is held on by weak ass magnets and if u accidentally bump into said dehydrator bad things happen

I confess adjusting to this last medication cut has been really hard. I just feel a bit more sore and annoyed about everything. I did good and went out today and spent time with people to distract myself. I've been slightly neglectful of my mycology though. I've been staring at the red light on my humidifier in my Martha for 3 hours now because I don't want to get out from under the covers and fill it and harvest these overdue cubes. I went out today to see a Wrinkle in Time which was fun I guess for the right audience but I wasn't too impressed. I'm wondeing if it was the move or just the fact that I'm not super impressed with much of anything right now. I was out in the cold too long and wasn't careful like I'm supposed to be and my body temp dropped to 96.9 and it's just gotten to 97.5. I think I'll go take care of these dumb cubes and try to take a hot shower to bring it back up more. Sigh. I have to be strong and stick with it and get off these shitty psych meds. Like seriously shit shouldn't give you withdraws.

I confess i need to stop being stingy and change my scalpel blades more often.
I even got a decent deal on like 50 blades or something. And i'll still use the same one at least 5 or 6 different sessions.
But this curled over tip from reheating too many times really interferes with what little still air technique i have.

I pick it off and toss the mess into a garbage can. Of course there is no liner so the bottom of the can is filled with crusted myc/coir boogers. Gross.

I feel you BlackCat. I weened myself off pharms recently and started a microdosing regimen. Getting off the meds was a pain in the ass and really sucked. But it gets better.

I try to do everything I can about making sure organic matter doesn't get bagged and thrown into the trash or landfill. If alive matter becomes anaerobic it releases methane instead of turning into carbon and that is 10x worse on the environment

That’s a bummer! I recommend buying some self adhesive Velcro strips for that door. One set at the top, one set at the bottom and your secured! They come in different strengths (pounds held). I would go for 8-10 pound strips. Home Depot or other hardware stores. Amazon too...

Thanks RuxBux, I know. It's just hard. I always forget that it's a combination of mental and physical pain till it levels off. It's driving me nuts. Fucking weaning off effexor also gives you the zaps and fucked up nerve sensations. I hate it. I hate every fucking minute of it. It's a special hell you never want to visit. I've been on it for 16 years now.
That dehydrator is pretty neat looking. I thought it was a PC at first. I bum my dehydrator all the time and if my cheap did that every time I'd prolly cry.
And yes. I'm stingy with the scalpel blades too and I definitely have plenty to spare. I feel ya on that.

I use all stainless steel dental tool picks as my agar tool you can get a set of like 6 online cheap. They get red hot and can slice and grab agar wedges easy. And can even be PC'ed if u really want sterile work

Nice! Just the other day i could have used a pair of flamed tweezers in my sab. I might like using one of the picks to stab tiny agar wedges as well.
