Social media, Aka: Facebook has a group called The Shroomery. Kinda neat seeing actual faces when looking at posts. Sometimes one can forget there’s a actual real person behind the keyboard.

It’s not like someone is going to know who you are unless you say you’re so and so from this site. It’s also not just for illegal substances. There’s some people on there that frequent this site I couldn’t even tell who’s who. Except for one person whom I shall not name.

I confess yesterday after everyone left work I stayed and picked some wild mushrooms out back for the first time and cooked them in our break room and loaded up all these badass pictures at 5 or so because I was so effin stoked about being able to recognize and eat wild mushrooms and when I clicked submit on the post the shroomery broke...
I confess I'm still excited and will be looking twice as hard for shaggy manes now, mushroom love for all! https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/25032838

I confess I really should have thrown these last few shoeboxes and trays out but they haven't contaminated and I have nothing else going on at the moment. These shoe boxes should have stopped fruiting by now because there is almost no substrate left but clearly they are on their 4th flush and it's pretty decent too. After I harvested them I noticed the foil was extremely brittle and had lots of holes and mycelium grown over. Mind you I know they eat foil I was just lazy and didn't feel like cutting out plastic this time. But I swear mushrooms are fucking amazing. I mean their using the foil for nutes and still flushing.
Also this Martha I bought from the local lot store sucks a giant dick. The stitching came undone on both sides. I figured it would but it did me well this past month. I'm building two new temporary chambers for my mushrooms just for the summer because I'm moving and returning this piece of garbage.

First grow in over 3 years. KSSS. First flushes. All aborts. Feeling super depressed. Just going to keep pushing forward until I get my groove back. Putting down 8 more jars on Sunday. G2G to 7 more jars. I am going to get KSSS if it kills me.

What do you think went wrong? Maybe contamination deep within the substrate? I've always been curious as to the cause of an all-tub pin abort.

No spawn was great. I know that much and can get it that far. I think it was too much misting? I've never done shoeboxes before and I am having trouble dialing everything in. My temps are fluctuating all over the place. It will be freezing outside one day, the next I have to run the A/C. Day after I am turning on the heat. I can't get the humidity right.

Try giving it a casing and forget misting unless it actually looks dry. Like getting a lighter color.

Typically not enough water to sustain the pinset

Well now you said that my dog is coming too...there are mountain lions and bobcats running around here... Hell I might take my 12g too or at least a pistol... But yeah I want to be away from people, a bon fire, my phone for music, and good vibes... If bigfoot shows up I'll try to give him a dose and chill with him/her whatever it is lol
