I confess I want to be home playing mycologist, but I sick and now I think the nurses have given me another gift, I feel super nauseous all the sudden and my fevers coming back. I felt great an hour ago.

If I were you I would request a respirator mask or something. I never go into the hospital or doctors office without one.

Welcome Humble Newcomer! May we all be blessed with perpetual noob enthusiasm!
I must confess that I’m very pleased after a 8 month break my two new cultures have great pinsets / canopies! Sure there is a bit of room for improvement but I’m still stoked. I guess I didn’t forget how to do this...

I confess that I have a bedroom room full of mycelium, 3 kinds of reishi 4 different oysters, 2 shiitake’s, H. abietes and a couple other species on over 100lbs grain thats all ready to go or over colonized and pinning, because I found out I had to build a new floor and 1/4 of a wall for the growroom to be ready to use.( It was completely rotted out, inside an old barn),the grain is all gonna go to sawdust asap for outdoor log cultivation but for now its sitting on a shelf in my room with nowhere for it to go . I’ve also got a few more species on deck, some ready to expand others ready for grain, cant wait until I get this room finished and get some more space, subfloors went in today, tomorrow is (calling a lawyer about finalizing ny partnership contract) pulling staples out of the wall, patching and primer, then hopefully the next day I can paint, put in the underlayment, vinyl flooring and set up the ventilation. I signed up to grow mushrooms and berries but ended up an unpaid contractor. Maybe I’ll grow some mushrooms next month...

But, but, you're building character too. Haven't you ever been told that and wanted to slap the shit out of whoever said it? Seriously though you got a good start on everything it sounds like. Here's to your success mate!

I confess I just set up my SAB with my pasty whyte no-pour agar inside...but I forgot to cover the agar containers with a piece of paper towel.
Thin layer of soap-water in my agar containers from the water I sprayed on the walls of the SAB.
Every. Single. One.

It got in the little hole on the top of the containers with the micropore tape for GE. The top of my SAB is kinda concave, or convex, or whatever it is, and the water beads down to the center of the roof of the SAB and drips down. Probably too much water misted on the walls, too.
Should have made the hole on the side. Hard lesson learned.

That, for the most part, is how I've been doing my SAB. I pre-wipe EVERYTHING, SAB inside/outsides, jars, tools, the baggies my prints are in, even stuff not going in the box with iso, spray the walls down, close the holes with magnetic covers and go smoke a joint while it settles.
I'm gonna have to try this out some time.
Right now I'm just starting out again after an 8-year hiatus so I'm gonna stick with what I'm doing now, just because the spraying is working so well for me (for the most part:lol) and it's only one extra step so I don't mind, really. But I will try it out.
Thanks for the link
