My mom flipped out when she found out I was into cultivating cubes....but now she's ok with it....she asked how much I spent on an oz...and I told her less than $15... And she was like damn really?....old hippy but I can't get her to eat any of my shrooms...already got most of my family to try them at least!

sounds tump-ish. id rather be hurt than the cat. i can comprehend my wounds and actions. cats can not. especially former feral cats

i told my parents i was growing them because i had to know dangerous people and they want to sell me harder shit.
and i was doing it in their house. i was forced to tell them but it was the truth. the guy i bought shrooms from
tried to sell me heroin and is now dead because he took too many pharms. dumbshit.

Super glue and duct tape is how I take care of cuts I need stitches for...cut myself twice with a chainsaw..as long as there isn't a tendon cut I'm not going to a hospital

Yeah cat spit is nasty...but I got iodine and shit to prevent infections...no need to go to a hospital and get charged thousands for some snit I can take care of at home....read a college human anatomy book in 7th grade... Made me stubborn about getting stitches and injuries...had a tree branch hit me in the head from about 15ft up...took me a week to finally go to the doctor.. A big tree branch! Probably would have killed most people

My mom knows all about my cultivating and is actually excited to talk to me about it. She hand drew me a bad ass
mushroom tapestry that I have hanging in my room, too. If I remember when I get home, I'll post a pic of it.

She is 65 and has been asking me about the experience and really wants to try some, I just don't know when or how
to do it:lol: She's never tripped before and has some childhood trauma that worries me a bit, but I really want
her to know, you know?

ok. use super glue and duct tape. ill go to the er. i can afford it. growing is not my full time job.
and i went to urgent care not the ER, that was added for dramatic effect. 100$ plus 30 for drugs. bfd

Id be scared to give my parents actives. they have soooo many issues. it would either be liberating or just a cluster fuck.
but ive had 'on the level' convos with my mom. she gets it without even trying it. but she would be able to experience it on her own.
her dad was kind of a wack job who may or may not have been involved with cia testing as a soldier.

The last time I went to the urgent care around here...we got turned away..they couldn't put staples in my boss's head he had a 3½ inch long gash on the back of his dome( I'm assuming he was drunk and fucked himself up)...I go to a doctor a couple times a year but the er I avoid if at all possible...
Growing mushrooms is just a hobby for me..I give em away to family and the 2 friends I got...maybe trade them for weed but that's about it...never sell em.. Usually only produce a couple oz's at a time..

I just sauteed a small ksss fruit. it was pretty tasty, but even if it was a full dose it probably wouldn't be active anymore

Actually I have eaten shrooms sauteed many times. Still works. In Thailand they sell omelets on the side of the road. If you don't ask to leave out the mushrooms, you'll be having a very colourful day. Mushroom soup works even faster than eating.

Oh and mushboy, I was joking there. Cats shouldn't be shot, they should be scalpeled alive until they stop moving and then burned. Still joking btw. I have 2 and love them dearly.

I did get a little uplifted. but I have been dosing a lot so it's not as trippy as it could be. my main concern is the actives being left behind in the butter.

What's wrong with having it sealed? Here I just took pictures. I literally sterilize the whole room plus the box. It greatly reduces contamination. Air flow is a large cause of contamination

The gloves are sealed onto the rubber entries. Everything's sealed with clear epoxy. The top has a foam 1 inch thick lining the edge with 4 clamps around the edge. It's hard to get hands in the gloves cause of the suction.

you can't flame sterilize anything. thats a big problem for lots of people. just seems like a big PITA when a SAB will reliably work better than that thing. seems like a lot of effort for no measurable return. you say it reduces contaminates, but any vet with SAB will tell you contaminates are not an issue.

so, it doesn't actually offer any real advantage to contaminates, and its more difficult to use. so, I would advise against using that contraption.

exactly. also, unless you have baby arms and hands, it is gonna be a PITA getting in and out of the gloves

my dumb ass tried to build one once, only to learn that my arms and hands are WAY too big to go in all but the XXL lab (real) glovebox, and i couldnt rig up anything homemade that didnt nearly fall apart just getting in and out of it

and when you are in it, you cant flame or transfer anything in or out... seriously, try it, and you will feel like an idiot... i did hahaha

SAB or flow hood/cab, attached gloves are more trouble than they are worth. and im not sure they are worth anything, considering the way a SAB functions they are likely counterproductive

So do you guys think I should remove the gloves to fix the pressure problem? Or should I remove the lid of the tub, flip it upside down and continue using as is except without the lid I mean

Remove the gloves. Its called a still air box. Its the only option other than a flow hood. We almost all use a SAB.
