i have not confessed this to the 'victim' but...

i long time ago when i first tried hpoo i made a big batched and used my dads old seafood boiler
as the vessel since its basically designed to steam things! it worked great and held the temp for an hour
and i let it rest to cool down. i was doing the old pillowcase tek. i then drained the water back into the
pot to get the hpoo at field capacity. i dumped the water out of the broiler but it had hpoo matter all
inside the pot.. i was in a hurry to i just put it back in the garage and went about my business.

about a month later my dad buys a big thing of crap legs and is steaming them up in the boiler!
i ask him if he bothered washing it out... he said 'i used it last and i cleaned it and put it away so why would i?!' (typical 50s' dad style response logic)

i instantly noticed the greenish tint to the crab legs and slowly walked out as he gobbled them down offering me some.
i have yet to tell him he ate horse shit flavored crablegs. but he did say they tasted 'odd'

why did he keep eating them? hes a fat guy and my mom didnt want him to eat them so he had to eat them all
to prove some weird ass point he was trying to make.

1 day ill tell him.

What's wrong with having it sealed? Here I just took pictures. I literally sterilize the whole room plus the box. It greatly reduces contamination. Air flow is a large cause of contamination

The gloves are sealed onto the rubber entries. Everything's sealed with clear epoxy. The top has a foam 1 inch thick lining the edge with 4 clamps around the edge. It's hard to get hands in the gloves cause of the suction.

you can't flame sterilize anything. thats a big problem for lots of people. just seems like a big PITA when a SAB will reliably work better than that thing. seems like a lot of effort for no measurable return. you say it reduces contaminates, but any vet with SAB will tell you contaminates are not an issue.

so, it doesn't actually offer any real advantage to contaminates, and its more difficult to use. so, I would advise against using that contraption.

exactly. also, unless you have baby arms and hands, it is gonna be a PITA getting in and out of the gloves

my dumb ass tried to build one once, only to learn that my arms and hands are WAY too big to go in all but the XXL lab (real) glovebox, and i couldnt rig up anything homemade that didnt nearly fall apart just getting in and out of it

and when you are in it, you cant flame or transfer anything in or out... seriously, try it, and you will feel like an idiot... i did hahaha

SAB or flow hood/cab, attached gloves are more trouble than they are worth. and im not sure they are worth anything, considering the way a SAB functions they are likely counterproductive

First time I took acid I just moved into my first apartment and when you move, in my country the cops come by to check if your official address is correct. As you can already guess, I was off to rainbowland in my bed when suddenly a cop stood in the living room, door left unlocked and everything. He didn't really seem to notice what was going on, according to my brother who I was living with and who was still sober (he swallowed a third of a trip he just started sucking on seconds before the cop came in). I came out of my bedroom in my boxers to talk to the cop while I was totally trippin balls! The"police" writing on his vest flashed at me like a stroboscope. While he was standing in the smalll corridor that lead to both the bathroom and my room, I, in my boxers, squeezed myself passed him, looking right in his eyes, just to grab my doorknob, open my door, and let a big ass weedcloud come out to his nose... He opens my door further, looks around the messy room with the joint still in the ashtray, and says, sniffing first, so this is YOUR room? (while again looking me in the eyes) I said yes, and proceeded to go in my room and slowly closed the door, while my brother carried on the conversation. When the cop left my brother came in my room, and threw my Hoffmans in the room, saying they were still on the living room table. I didn't dare venture out of my room anymore the first 4 hours, shaking too bad to roll a joint to calm down. Now that's a bad trip!

Oh and another acid-related incident. I just ordered my second bottle of liquid acid and was on my test run. So I dropped one drop and waited an hour, then thought to myself, probably 100µg, so I could use a bit more tonight. I dropped 2 more and put the bottle on my shelf closet, which was right beside my bed as a nightstand, sort of. I had a spot on the end of that shelf for my last bottle, so after 10 minutes I see the bottle in the middle of the shelf. I want to  put in on the end of the shelf, on the safe spot, so I place my hand on the shelf, take the dropper bottle by the dropper, and apparently I forgot to close it. The bottle goes over my hand, and my shelf, and I just hear the voice of the girl I got my first liquid acid ever from, saying after she accidentally dropped 4 instead of 1 drop at a party "Well, lick it up already!". So I lick up my hand AND shelf, and think to myself, with my mouth all hot with ethanol, "This seems like a whole lot of acid..." So I start breaking up sugar cubes and counting drops, and the last cubes MUST have gotten several drops because I just couldn't see clearly through all the visuals going on, but I calculated that even with 1/3 of the cubes getting double drops, on a 100µg per drop scale, I had about 2400µg in my body. The next day I woke up not remembering how I got to sleep, and unsure whether I was still tripping or was never coming down again. After 3 hours it stopped, and 2 hours later I dosed 10 cubes because I was starting to miss it. Needless to say, that was a really acid filled period in my life.

So do you guys think I should remove the gloves to fix the pressure problem? Or should I remove the lid of the tub, flip it upside down and continue using as is except without the lid I mean

i forgot to mention how bad it smelled too. like a red light district. boiling seafood and dirty ass smell.
my father is stubborn and CHEAP beyond belief so when i told him, 'dad those went bad, maybe they were old'
he just replied with the classic honeymooners attitude of 'damnit this is america and i made this and ill eat it!'

yah you just ate shit buddy. baby boomers are funny yet sad people. 'clown' is a fitting word.

on another note my mom asked me if i received my hand injury from smacking mason jars on my palm.
i dropped the phone laughing. mushrooms are too ingrained into my life. ...inGRAINed.. :stoned:
