I confess that I was just boiling some water in my PC to hydrate some coir, 5050 style I had the lid partly screwed on and when I came to check if it was boiling or not, it felt stuck I've been running around all day and I just didn't put 2 and 2 together, so I gave it a good yank...

Mushboy, A finger and some lube to push that bad boy back in place and problem solved in minutes instead of days, unless it won't stay in place, then removal is the only other choice.
I confess, I always thought barley is where malt came from, I didn't realize any cereal grain can be "malted". Now I'm curious to see if different malted grains will make different batches of MEA. I plan to go to the beer/wine makers shop tomorrow to purchase a few different malted grains for my agar project. Anyone know anything about it or have personal experience?

Guess who's inkbird sensor came undone and fell to the bottom shelf where the FAE is coming in. Mine did. It caused my humidifier to run non stop and flood my bins. Luckily everything looks ok still. I kinda accidentally then dropped the sensor in a puddle on the floor and caused it to go into error mode. It's since dried out and is reading fine now. So yeah. Lesson learned. Zip ties.
