I did that too soon, I didn't know how to make a clean print so there was no point in getting a fuckload of prints to grow out

Same here I'm about to make a mad dash for the finish line...growing out 5 varieties at a time, slanting them, testing fruits, and scraping slants of varieties I don't care for after testing

I've never made a good clone. Unless of course one of the recent ones works. My last try just fruited. a pretty good pinning the tiny pins grew to small pins and instead of becoming large pins the caps began opening. then half aborted and half looks like tiny plate pin mushrooms.

My next clones are mostly not plate pin clones.

I just traded my ex a decent amount to wiggle around a few wires and open up my flow hood. And presto it works. Well he actually used a digital multimeter and tested all the wires and fuse and gave it a clean bill of health. Just a mechanical issues. Something had gotten wedged. I'm still taking the replacements though because I did have to pay a decent amount for him to come over and do it. I believe in paying for services rendered. But at least he showed me what everything does and I don't feel so intimidated by it anymore.
Yay! Time to get to work tonight and test these babies out.

You guys are silly. I just got these awesome shoeboxes at my local lot store. 5 in a package for 5 bucks. I also got one of those small greenhouses for 20 bucks. Then I purchased a stuffed owl and some seed starters to try and make it look less sketchy. But really now that I think about it there is nothing in this world that is going to make 15 shoeboxes and a greenhouse look any less sketchy. But at least they are so cheap I can just toss them if they get really contaminated now.
I don't think kitty approves of the new structure I just erected without her permission.
But now that I think about it I did want to grow danish flag poppies this year. Might as well start them next month in these.
Got everything set up. Do you think I solved my humidity issue? Look at that fog.
Edit: Looks like the tent is working a bit too well. My lions mane looks like a wet mop and I was starting to get puddles in the containers. Just ordered an inkbird humidity controller. I got the pre wired version which I think is going to work nicely. I moved the containers to a lower shelf and removed the plastic I had covering the bottom shelf so the humidity can escape a bit. I think I may just settle for upside down lids until the controller gets here. Bollocks. I'll get this right damn it! So close.

I just bought 3 cases of jars 6 large shoeboxes, 4 packs of pp5 wide mouth lids, a bottle of 70% iso and some rubber gloves. Darn it. Should have gotten an owl to look less sketchy.

I confess I’m pretty pleased with a very small seemingly insignificant fruit. It goes like this... After about a twenty year break from cultivation I found the Shroomery and found out you could order spores from companies on line. I ordered B+ spores from a small company in Canada and started trying to grow. Initially I had zero success even getting germination. I left a 1/4 pint jar of grain with the last bit of my spores in it for a few weeks while on holiday with my family. I came back and a third of the jar was colonized!!! I nursed that along and got a few small fruits... And a spore print or two and I cloned a fruit (August 2015). That clone was very vigorous and led to a lot of mushies. I decided to try LC so I made an LC with that clone and left some in a syringe. In 2016 I put the last squirt of that LC onto agar and a beautiful culture grew out.

I don’t know why but I put that on cardboard and it grew out and I forgot about it again...then I remembered it and tore up the cardboard and mixed it with shaded straw... then after that Was colonized I put some CVG on top.
Today February 2 2018 ... I noticed the ol Be Positive produced a little fruit! What a fighter! The force is strong in this one!

I might have to clone that fruit and keep it going...

My liner had a hole in it and some of the mycelium from my KSSS escaped and formed a tiny fruit just like that.
Also I confess I would have shed a tear after using my new flow hood if my eyes weren't so dry. I made three APE clones and 5 wild oyster clones in half the time. When I was done I wasn't all hot and shaky and in pain. I was barely nervous with all the space and cool air on my. The flow gave a nice 45 degree angle. The air in my room is clean as fuck too. Don't remember the last time I was able to breath this good in here even with my small hepa. It has that hospital clean smell.
Now we just have to wait and see what the dishes grow.

I've done so much more than I normally do since I got my hood...and it is big enough for 2 people to work comfortable...I am excited to get working on my grow room...looking into getting a 20ftx12ft metal storage container and setting it up for growing shiitake and other edibles..
Oh my confession is that I hate DFA... Only batch of agar I made last week that didn't set up right..it has slow growth as well..going back to pda and mea and not ever messing with dfa again
