Apparently giving him the cold shoulder and the mega bitch body language didn't do it. He was just that awkward. Anyways.
I'm pretty sure it's my new hoods that are outside but I feel too nigh to get the,. I woke up high still from these brownies or at least just a bit out of it.

Doc9151 said: I confess I dont know what to do. My wife has been on my ass because I refuse to trip with her anymore.
Approximately 5 months ago I introduced her to mushrooms after much prodding by her. I have always had this fear of fucking someone up mentally so I would never give someone their 1st dose.
After the 4th or 5th trip she became really suicidal and it brought out undiagnosed paranoid schizophrenia and Bipolar manic depression, open eyed hallucinations, the works.
Her family had a history but they hid it from shame. I know it was the mushrooms that brought it to the surface. Her age, past history, everything points to the psychedelics being the cause of onset.
Fastward to today. My wife over hears a conversation I have with my son about a planned trip. She climbs so far up my ass because I will dose with him but not her (she's not his mom). I told her there is no way in hell I'm every giving her any kind of psychedelics again after what happened. Needless to say I will probably be deprived of any kind of sexual contact for a little bit.
Am I wrong? I mean, I really dont know what to do. All of my life experience has not prepared me for this situation. The 1st few times were great, then it just went down from there. All of my senses tell me no, but I also feel wrong for saying no. I'm her husband not her daddy.
I'm just afraid it will bring it all back and void the medication thats been working for her. What would you do if it was your wife or girlfriend/boyfriend?
Hey Doc.
I can relate to your question more through a relationship with a friend of mine, we go waaaay back to when we were something like 15-16 y o, but he had a car crash some 5 to 10 years ago. Before his crash even, he wanted to try shrooms and I never got to give him any. His crash resulted in his skull being cracked open, several bones broken, nerve damage in several places, a coma for several months, and over 2 years recovery, but never made a full one. Guy used to drive us all (our friend group/gang/whatever you wanna call it) to get weed back in the day. He always remained completely sober the whole trip, not even a toke, missing out on several quarts of Sangria being shared on a summer's day even, because he could never let his fun jeopardize our safety in any way. Real stand up guy who would give his friends his left nut. Anyway, suffice it to say he still means a whole lot to all of us, and we all try to look out for him in one way or another, because he'll probably never be able to fully take care of himself anymore. He still wants to try shrooms and I have had some very hard times coming to terms with my final decision as well. In the end, I decided that for me, his right to living the life he sees best fit for him, is more important than my fear of letting something happen to him. He wanted to trip even before the accident, and has even tried my DMT before his accident. But even if it was after, I think he still should have the right to decide what he sees fit. That doesn't mean I'm giving him an ounce and a "have a nice trip". I'll give him some shrooms, but we'll start one day with something like 0.5 grams, have him close his eyes while lying on his back, put on some downtempo music, let him feel the flow of closed eye visuals softly beginning, stuff like that. If it goes wrong at a low dose it'll at least be manageable. But if it goes right, then next chance we get I'll let him get a taste of a very soft trip with something like 1 gram. Then if all that goes right, have him see what he wants to go for, setting a max at 3 grams. Basically let him decide, but sort of guide him through the whole process, including being his tripsitter every time. We'll probably start somewhere this year, hopefully all will go well.
Anyway, I don't want to tell you what you should or shouldn't do, but it sounded like you feel like getting some perspective. Seems like most people here would be unwilling to give your wife in your case shrooms, and I can agree to a certain extent, but might consider a careful approach of sorts if she feels that strongly. It's her life after all. Though, what happens in her life, will eventually affect yours.
Cool that you can trip with your son! I can imagine me tripping with mine when he comes to that age of interest...
Welcome back Shomann!

That package slipped a little and cut the side of my foot. I got the hoods inside. Still haven'y had a proper look at them. Tomorrow I have to carry each panel down the stairs individually. Those things are build like tanks!

Hope your unit is in better shape than my two were TBC. Both had major tears in the hepa, got a full refund minus shipping and in exchange Iβm keeping the fans, dissapointing consolation prize, but I think my hood will be better because of it. I have all the materials prepped and cut, ready to build a brand new 18x24 with the fan from one of the broken units as soon as the filter gets here tomorrow. Iβll make a flow hood build post when Iβm all finished up, might raise some interest in the extra fan I have for sale. Gonna be similar to c10βs but L shaped instead of a wedge, and with the plexi on top of the hood not the sides. Totally stole the idea for a switch and outlet but Iβm gonna recess mine into the side instead of having it mounted.. and no fancy quick usb charger (35$).

Mine came in looking like it was in good shape, but the middle doesn't have any airflow. Just air flowing all around the sides. Getting a refund.

i bought some over priced oysters at the local hipsters mart and made a basic wine reduction with shallots. it was kickass.
anyway the wife asks 'and you could grow these...?' and i say..
'for the millionth time.. yes..but i need more space......'
'oh?! why dont you use the office down stairs? ill move my office to the den'
sometimes its best to nod politely. because inside i was ripping my hair our at the fight we had months ago about me wanting to do edibles in her office
combination with
i confess my wife might of opened pandoras box and im totally going to go overboard.

You really don't need much space. I have my greenhouse in the garage. It's 3ft wide by 2ft deep by 6ft tall. I guess my flowhood and spawn room take up a whole room in the house though

I don't know yet. I still have to open them later tonight. I had prior contact with the seller and asked him to send me the best units that will need their filters changed last and he agreed to look them over before they get sent out. He has good ratings and thus far everyone who has ordered one has been happy. I hope I have the same great experience.
