Definitely can't put a blade on backwards on the # 7. It has an indent in the handle that is angled so it wouldn't even fit if it was backwards.
Ya tom try shaving it a bit and also bending the blade holding part backwards a bit to relieve the forward pressure on the blade as it heats up. Worked perfectly to stop my blades from coming loose

I have to confess I spawned some WBS jars before I left for vacation on the 21:st, I´m coming home on Monday to assess the situation. 7 shoeboxes and a few tubs and some bags. Before I spawned the jars I opened every single one to smell them. Those that smelled funky (3 or 4 of them) I placed to my right and the good ones were placed on the left side. But somehow along the road (after smelling 20 jars) I somehow lost my sense of smell, like the eyes can be blinded by strong light my sense of smell suddenly started telling me that the funky jars smell REALLY good and the good smelling jars kind smell funky...
So what I´m gonna do now? Tried leaving the room to neutralize my sense of smell but when I came back all of a sudden EVERYTHING smelled like shit so I spawned everything and left the country

That's my experience with the smell test as well either that or I can't smell shit at all.
Smell is only a good indicator when the jars are pure rank
I've had some bomb smelling my shit the bed and also the opposite many times

My confession: Running more 62 liter conventional monos as opposed to 14 liter open trays kicks ass right now...So much less work involved and the shrooms don't get stressed. Really wish I'd done this last winter.

yeah crispy. i used to run automated but monos are the way to go. far less work. and you don't really need to regulate or pay attention to anything. they pretty much maintain themselves. i don't even have to mist until 2nd flush. and generally ill just dunk the tub and don't have to do anything until harvest.

Oh I've done it. The fitting slides the blade on at an angle that puts the tip of it on the edge of the handle of put on backwards

I got out the shower and put on some socks and boxers and sat down at the SAB..dont know why never done it before. I pull a xacto from the alcohol jar and hit it with the torch. I guess some alcohol was inside of it so as its on fire and i tilt it to go in the hole alcohol runs out catches fire and lands on my boxers on fire. I jump out the chair thinking my dicks burning down..waving a flaming knife in the other hand trying to decide if i want to smack myself in the balls to put it out..went out on its own..then i went and got pants on..shameful i know rofl..
That will be all..
Good times...

Josex said: What's this madness of tossing perfectly good jars when they tam out? That's wasteful as hell. I certainly can't, most of my jars are mason jars, ball brand, that I imported from Merica back in the day.
All it takes to deal with moldy jars is bringing the pc up to 15 psi and immediately shut off the gas.
We eat about 1 500ml jar of mayonaise every week at my place. I toss way less jars than that so I still go like 0.8 up in number of jars every week.
I need to get some new lids for about a quarter of them though..
