Its just like half of my plates tam out sometimes like 80%. I know its probably mostly technique but now I can work on technique without thinking its already fucked in the back of my mind. I figured I would get some flaming for it but thats what makes us better

I wouldn't knock Justa's dexter lab. Looks like a fine idea to me.

Japanese black market. They love combining all things involving robots and genitals
I stopped turning off the AC when I use the SAB too though. By the end of the session the stale air in the room gets warm and I start sweating and that ends up causing me to rush thru the rest of my work to get the air back on. That tent looks like a great idea especially in an isolated area like an attic but man I would be dying lol I burn up easily

Some of my nicest and handiest tools have been cheap as fuck, and/or made out of things not designed for it. Gotta love having cheap n great working little things like that.

Any more opinions on these. I'm going to buy them Friday and I only have so much money and don't want to fuck myself over. Yay! Flow hood!
I'm also getting a small greenhouse with shelves. Can't quite seem to get the RH right for my lions mane with this makeshift shelf thing and I don't feel like building anything. Also I was kind of forgot to fill the humidifier before I left too. Oops. Looks like I'm making tinctures.

Also cool Dexter room.

I just learned that the recommended particle size is .22 for a good flow hood filter. I also learned about penetration versus microns. I now know how to purchase a filter. https://www.osti.gov/scitech/servlets/purl/325065
Next challenge is what blower do I need.

Well if you are getting that one from the link you posted, you won't be needing a blower, it's a blower and filter in one piece.
BTW, the study you just listed is about HEPA filters in ducts.

I did some research and may have got some bad info. Being me I question everything! Paul Stamets filters are .3 microns just like these panels. I am going to ask this guy where he got these panels from and then go from there. Who the fuck knows what they could have been used for. Did you buy the same exact panels LizeWiz. I wish I could test them but I don't have a tester.

Well, they changed the title of the add after I bought it, but it's definitely the same add. I don't have a tester either, I'd just be holding a lighter in front of it in all places to check how laminar it really is, and then do some agar work in front of it.
I've looked at it, and it's looking pretty decent. I bet it'll work fine. Only thing I'm wondering about is if the Hz difference won't be too much of an issue, but that's nothing you have to worry about being in the US.

Did you look inside the filters. Do they look really used?

I didn't open it up, since it's a filter fan unit, it's not meant to be taken apart. They probably have gotten some use, but they looked like they weren't molested or anything if that's where you're getting at. They by-passed the switch for low/hi setting, so I'm guessing it runs full power all the time. The pre-filter is missing of course, and I don't see why it shouldn't be, as it was probably worn out any way. I did open up the plate that covers the pre-filter area, and it was looking pretty clean inside. They probably got some good use out of them, but that doesn't mean it won't run for a good few more years. I wish I could tell you about the speed it's running at and such but no-can-do....
