Had to do it sometime I guess. The SAB work I did afterwords was pretty sloppy as well. Today isnt my day
Hopefully I'm more capable tomorrow. I got my first print on Thursday. (SO STOKED) so I gotta make some clean syringes . I gotta be on my A game. I think I'll do a practice run with some old syringes and some pepper

I once ran a PC dry. The bottom of it warped slightly, and I wasn't going to mess with that so I called Presto to see if I could get a new one (mine was under warranty). I had to explain what happened to an agent, and she said, "the PC should be at least half full of water" or something like that, and I had to explain how every amateur mycologist in the world does not use it like that, we only put an inch or two of water in, and unless you're a complete dumbass it'll be fine. She had never heard of PCs being used like that.

This site has like 150,000 registered users, so they've probably sold around that many PCs to just our members alone!
I should add that I did indeed get my PC replaced for free

Homebrewing gave me a taste, but mycological work really opened my eyes to the world of microbiology and the absolutely astounding prevalence of microbes & spores & such everywhere.
It's also made me go from being sort of grossed out/disgusted by mushrooms being the fruiting body of a fungus to fascinated by them now that I have a deep understanding of the organism & how they function. Ignorance leads to fear, I suppose. & the more I learn the more I'm enthralled.

Pics of your deep understanding, or it didn't happen. Also, you need a rating.

The spore syringes are going to agar, I'm using a type of the Pasty EZ LC jars. I cant do pour as I am out of Petri dishes and the only options I have to get more are too expensive at present.

It was a equisit bouquet of sour bacteria, cheesy bacteria, alcohol yeasty, mildew, and mold ....
There was a fair bit of wincing and gagging...and I almost threw them out but I hate waste.
A hot soapy bleach water soak and scrubbing turned them around!
