Since getting into mycology, I've been id'ing leftovers with short but meaningful serial codes before I throw them in the freezer.

My gf of going on 4 years said a week ago "Do you ever think maybe you're a little too into this? Like how many times today did you check your tub? I think you have a problem."
I was like "...Listen bitch, a problem is smoking fucking meth and robbing people, I feel bad you don't have a hobby as cool as this, this is fuckin fascinating. I grew these fuckers from spores on agar LOOK."
She just rolls her eyes and doesn't get it but she's also never tripped yet. I think that will make her understand why I am so into it. I feel like a wizard who found magic when I grow shrooms. She sees some half naked dude leaning over a tub at 2AM giggling.

Just saw some self proclaimed spore vendor talking about isolating LGT on a FB psilocybin mushroom group. Some people are so bold about associating their personal identity with felonious activities lol and they are among us at that

I confess to have been consumed with mushroom projects non stop for over a year. This last couple months I've been so eager to finish my last project, groaning the whole time. Just totally burnt out and ready to take a break. Now that everything is harvested, and all equipment is in storage, I want to start another project. Been pricing out new equipment and researching new mushrooms to grow. WTF is wrong with me??? Mush cult must be a sickness.

right now we´re on a tight budget and we found some prebaked bread in the store that was really cheap. i don't know how much bread costs in other countries but here is costs like around 5 or 6 US dollars for a good healthy loaf of bread. but when the money runs out we get the cheap stuff hehe. i have to confess i have invested a lot of money into myco shit that i don't use. when i was lurking the shroomery before i had an account i was getting my info from the bad threads. aquarium heater, heat pads, misters and foggers, you name it hahahahaha i even build the glove box with the gloves hermetically attached, at the same time i was finished building it i realised what a piece of junk i have build haha. but learningg the hard way makes it stick so much better than learning from others i guess.

I confess I didn't think I'd miss myco-work this much! One more show and I'm heading home. Had a grate tour. Dead & Co. has been killing it.

The U.S. fucking sucks. We throw out at least half of our produce every year. I watched my friend tossing a bunch of expensive produce in the trash because it was old but it wasn't bad. I can barely afford to buy food and people just dump it.

Agreed TBC I worked at Costco for a couple years when I was younger. Always questioned why we never gave away things that weren't bad. Turns out they used to but got sued by a homeless guy who got food poisoning and almost died. But hey atleast dude didn't go hungry and got a warm place to sleep. Still feel like they should give it out though

$20 a week should be plenty enough to buy food to feed ones self. I’m sure your forest critter friends can oblige that for the treats you say you give them

The USA is the best fucking country in the whole world. I know I sound like an ignorant American but I will fucking die for this country no questions asked. I was raised not knowing other countries had worse off than the US and I truly feel for them, but I am a patriot to the depth of my core. I had a relapse recently and have been focusing on my aquarium instead of my shrooms partially because my cakes are eating dick right now and I don't know how to fix it so I am just letting them do their thing. I think it's either the flour I used or the variety or both idk but it's pissing me off so I have been focusing on setting up my aquatic plants and fish and it's been so much fun.

my cakes' conditions haven't changed since I've stated them but they are growing super small. I don't know what that could be from. MS?
