I confess I'm an Amazon fanboy for everything but growing supplies. I'll only use one vendor for those--just like one vendor for spores.

It sucks. I'm still having that issue with not being able to scroll back or forward on posts and can only access new posts from the threads list. I can't really figure out what this thing is about spiders. If you are having issues with insects in your grains you should stir in a few cups of diatomaceous earth per 50lbs. Wear a dust mask when you do it because it's non toxic but is a mechanical irritant to lung tissues if you breath too much in. I put it in every batch of grain. This is how grain is kept bug free traditionally and it's safe to eat.

Diatom is useful stuff, i had a terrible bedbug infestation (nearly 2 years ago and i'm not still not mentally okay i swear)and this was the only thing that worked.
My dad puts it in his coffee, apparently really good for your stomach too.

I confess I'm running 4 different species right now and am getting thankful I didn't choose to work with any more till I get these 4 under my belt. I'm already through 50 plates and I will for sure need another 50 by the time I get things like I want.

that will kill the bugs but not the eggs. unless you are die hard with that shit 24/7 'nam style. it can turn into a hatch, lay eggs die from DE, repeat. HEAT treatments above 120 for 20min is the ONLY real way.

I confess I am super stoked to see a few pins on a B+ shoebox I am fruiting. I had 8 cakes of the same that would only put out tiny pins that would quickly abort.

I confess I'm really, really stressed out. I tried to catch up on some mycology work after the holidays that has to be done and I couldn't do it. My back has been hard core messed up since Wednesday and it's not getting any better. Seeing the doctor tomorrow. At the very least I was able to check my plates which all look pretty great. But that was about the end of it. I have these over consolodated oyster jars which fill me with sadness. I need to get them on sawdust stat. I wish I had someone who knew what the fuck they were doing to help me with this. Sigh. Super demoralizing shit. All of this nice myco work I did just sitting in front of me.
Diatomaceous earth was one of the main things that helped me too with my infestation.
It's great because you don't need to reapply it as long as you keep it dry. As soon as the hatch they will walk across it as long as you are very liberal with it and don't sweep it up. It can also be left in the walls. As long as you don't get it wet it works. It can be applied in cracks and cervices in your floors as well. I used an insect duster. I used it in conjunction with vacuuming, pesticides, cedar oil, spraying rubbing alcohol and just cleaning every corner and properly laundering. Took down three floors of them.
And yes they are insanely traumatizing.

mushboys post spot on about the heat, Friend of mine works for housing Maint. Bed bugs is an all out war in those ghetto type high rises for seniors. Heat is the only way.
I have a hard time tripping if i am not at my own house on my own terms with a gate i can lock. I feel safer and have a way better time.

Then I was watering a SGFC with a watering can but the spout got blocked so I took the rose off the end. It looked like leaves blocking the spout and poking out so I put it in my mouth and blew but out shot a mouse (dead) not leaves. It was a while before the taste went away.
What the fuck dude that is disgusting! So you tasted the dead mouse? How'd it taste?
