<<< NOVEMBER CONTEST RESULTS >>>
Thank you to everyone for playing. I think we are all a bit richer for sharing and being witness to these awesome confessions. I sincerely appreciate you all in here.
So I have a first, second, and third place winner and a couple of honorable mentions. Hell they are all winners but I have to pick some.
First place - Ok I'm a bit biased because I'm a Dad so FeloniousJunk's mystical confession touched me from that angle. Second place - Classic mystical experience - viewing oneself from an astral body, witnessing one's own creation. Wow Kayntmc - good stuff. Third place - I picked this one because mushrooms affect us profoundly in subtle ways too. They don't need to rocket us off in a magical ride to the other side of the universe. Josex reminds us that mushrooms may just change our lives while we barely notice it happening.
Honorable Mention #1: NothingsChanged described a feeling I recognize deeply and he did it with great economy of expression. Short deep and sweet! Honorable Mention #2: Yonatin... great confession of the first time mushrooms took him to the other side - showing him a potential he was only guessing at before.
I'll send you all PM's about prize possibilities. Peace Confessors Psilo Psych
First Place

FeloniousJunk said: Forgive me father for... wait... wrong confession.
I have lots... To begin, I confess that this thread made me jump the fence from lurker to posting. First Post!
In reading this thread (another confession, I'm still only on like pg. 100), I've come to realize that I was a part of mushcult before I ever even realized there was a mushcult. I've spent hours in the bin aisle. I've dreamed of cooking up large batches of LC to inoculate large beds of wood chips randomly found around town. Even before starting the hobby, my kitchen was full of wide mouth quart jars.
In the realm of mystic confessions: The first time I ate shrooms, I had been through what I thought was the peak of the experience and had come down significantly. We had a family member babysitting our baby child at the house during the experience, all safe like. I was holding him for a moment, thankful for the new gift in our lives and started signing to him.
The act of singing was like a key that opened the door. Out of no where, I was experiencing a second reality in parallel with the real world. The real world was there, and I could interact with it and all was well. But it was as if my mind had gone into dual-monitor display mode, and on the second monitor in my mind I watched time itself unfold. Looking into my son I could see myself, and my father, and my grandfather, and his father. And my son's children, and their children, and so on. In one moment the mushrooms drove home the point that our existence is a chain of family, and this is the legacy we leave behind.
In those brief moments, I knew exactly what had happened. When the door opened, I was given access to a 6' x 6' velvet roped glimpse into the potential. It was all an intentional show to convey just enough to convince me this was important. Very important. And very real. And the rabbit hole has just gotten deeper from there.
In closing, I'd like to thank every who made this community something I wanted to be a part of. The admins who keep the site running! PsiloPsychin for starting this awesome thread! A special thanks to Bod, Pasty, and Mushboy who's information I've found particularly helpful in my getting started phase!
Second Place

Kalyntmc said: I confess My Mystical Experience was on a mix of shrooms and ayahausca.
I TOOK AN 8th of shrooms and 2 shots of ayahausca and it melted my reality... I went in with good mindset and it was so much more than i ever thought it would be. After taking my mushies and finishing the worst tasting drink ive ever had i laid in the bed with my wife and started a movie.
After some time it all just hit me at once. The tv screen turned an orange color then the entire room swirled into a vortex of liquid like looking at a tub draining but it wasent water it was reality. It all swirled together with amazing colors then went pitch black....
Next i had the most spiritual experience ever.. i had vision i was in the garden of eden i was basically standing in front of this massive tree. And a snake came down off of a branch and started telling me things. I could not understand what he was saying though.
Suddenly i was thrown into a hospital room. And it was like i was seeing everything from 3rd person perspective like my soul was out of my body hovering above my body. I was watching My body standing in a hospital room watching a baby being born. But the baby was me. So my soul was watching my body watch me at my time of birth. And that cycle kept looping for ever.
My wife snaped me out of my trip cuz she said the entire time i was just rolling around the bed making noises and body convulsing once she awoke me i was good the rest of the night.
Third Place

Josex said: "My Mystical Experience" I confess that if it hadn't been for a bad knee surgery I had in '12 I wouldn't be here today and probably would never have grown mushrooms.
I underwent 2 years of painful rehab, had to move back with my parents and could not work or do anything that required the use of my leg. All's good now though.
I knew I did not want to waste that much time without doing anything worthwile, so from day one, I started to learn English by myself, lots of hours, every single day, from scratch. No teachers, no grammar books, no bullshit... Just learning by osmosis as a kid would.
Long hours at home also made me ponder about the nature of existence itself Like wtf is all this that we take for granted... That search got me interested in psychedelics and their ability to raise our consciousness.
If you only speak Spanish you can forget about learning how to grow mushrooms. Mush cult is still in the stone age here. So my English allowed me to use the wealth of knowledge here and also become a member of this community.
It does not end there though, but it's just too much of a tale to write here. In a nutshell, you can't wrap your head around the series of incredible coincidences that had to take place for me to grow. If those had not happened I could never have grown mushrooms with any kind of seriousness... It's like the universe wanted me to grow. No coincidence
I confess I only started to grow mushrooms seriously since November of last year, and with a long hiatus in between. But it's been very intense and I love this hobby so much. I've encountered lots of hurdles along the way and I'm so thankful for those, for they forced me to find easy solutions for tough problems. And now I feel is time to give back to the community and share all the things I've learned, one at a time and as fast as my lazy ass lets me

Yonatin said: I confess, I experienced shrooms for what feels like the first time. I ate 6g dried last night and it took me to a whole new existence. I know the contest for mystical experiences is over but I still feel like this is worth sharing. Last night I kept thinking that our bodies are just windows into earth and our conciseness uses them to experience this reality. Some souls inhabit animals as their window so they get a different experience on earth than we do. I looked up at the sky and figured out why man looks to the sky... it's art, a constant changing piece of art. I felt the love that we all have inside of us. The colors were literally popping out of the TV, every pixel sucked me in deeper and deeper. The trip lasted a little longer than I thought and it became overwhelming at times, but I truly felt the benefits of shrooms for the first time. All of my other trips have been okay but never left me in awe like last nights.

So I may have discovered a cult hack on accident via procrastination/bit laziness.
So I had a whole shit load of full pint cakes that I cased and fruited in the jars for the 1st flush. They came in a wave a few jars a day. Well each one got redunked, rolled in vermiculite and slipped back into the jar. I was not sure if I would continue fruiting in the jar or put into SGFC. well some sat in the jar for like a week. Well I slipped them out tonight to put into the SGFC and some have some REDICULOUS pin sets for 2nd flush. Like better than most get on a 1st flush and would make a noobs dick get hard. Like some of them probably have around 100 pins. So side pins in tubs=bad, side pins on cakes=good. Well slipping them back into the jars and letting them sit created a great microclimate in the 1/4-1/2 inch area between the cakes and the sides. I will try to remember to get some pics in next few days as the pins become more pronounced.

Let me tell you a story about Ghost0420...
Nah I'd rather not actually. I'd humor you but I really don't wanna give any current poster shitheads any limelight. They're starting to quiet down a little, even.

I confess I like this thread and enjoy reading the confessions, thanks Psilo. And congratulations to all the winners.
TMH420, good luck man I hope it works out. I once had a bunch of PF cakes nocked up w MS Z strain that pinned like that. I got pretty excited but then nearly every pin aborted. My guesses were either that many pins created extra gas buildup and I had my FAE wrong or maybe the cakes couldn't support that many pins..... It was a long time ago and I was very new to mush cult so I only half way knew what was going on.

I'm tempted to ask for threads that contain shitshows. I love a good shitshow.

Confession, I like to change my signature a lot. I also have a sick sense of humor and often get taken wrong. I once changed my signature to eat shit..... If you are a mushroom that's a good thing.
Looking back and thinking about the conversation that was happening when I had that signature I'm sure it was seen as a douchey signature. It had nothing to do with anything, really really. A lot of mushrooms like to eat shit.
Idk why, but that was bothering me. Guess I just wanted to clear the air on that and not be taken that way.

Thanks. This is the reason I personally push PF tek so much for noobs. Sorry but if you can't pull off a good PF tek, your chances of pulling off a bulk 1st try as a noob are not so good. I rock pint sized cakes and usually get 5-7g dry per cake, 1st flush. So with 20 cakes I am pulling a QP 1st flush. By time all flushes are done I get a solid half pound or more.

YUP, always. I even do a 2nd roll sometimes if the verm doesn't stick well. In fact the pic I posted of the 4 cakes is an example of the double roll. I just wait until 2 days have passed, mist the fuck out of them and roll again.

Maybe that's a silly question. Truthfully, after decades of being a mushroom lover and half way dicking around w MS injections and lazy fruiting techs I'm taking this hobby a lot more serious and am still learning a lot. I'm trying to do this shit right this time.

Life is but a learning experience. If your not constantly learning what is the point of living. Part of what makes this hobby great is there is always another method or way to try. New innovations and ideas pop up constantly.
I personally do the cakes as I enjoy them and they are reliable as fuck for me. At the same time I am working with agar and bulk in front of a hood.

Thats a crazy story mt. Glad your ok. When taking heroic doses and with little experience, it is best to have someone with experience guide you. If I introduce a new person to something like that its always a good option to babysit and guide them. Prep your area before hand with no sharp objects or be in an open area free of roads ECT. Dont drive either.
