Shameful confession... I never got around to cleaning my grow room and now that I'm moving it means I'm washing out contaminated jars I didn't know about... while I'm supposed to be loading the truck.

Oh shit. I confess I found the two missing jars. I thought I was going fucking crazy. Turns out they were in a jar crate slightly pushed towards the back on the bottom of the closet.  Heh. There still good. Going to knock up 11 jars instead of 9 tonight I guess.

Also I now have officially lost my spray bottle of alcohol. I hate when I finally psych myself up enough to get some work done and shit is missing.

Happy All Hallow's Eve....  When the spirit world is closer than one thinks, and the dead may just greet you you in the street....
Cackle, Cackle, ahhhh-Haa-Haaa-haa-haa....

Or in your own house, apparently.  There are ghosts around here for sure.
Every good friend I have got has promised to reach out after death-
So far, only one and no hints or clear messages yet.

I love Halloween.  Favorite non-holiday of them all.

Should get a day off work - paid - for this one.
I wish I was younger and more energetic- I'd be out in the sacred forest somewheres dancing around a fire and all that...
Today, what- people might go to a party dressed up a Koch Brother or some ghoul, have a few drinks, go home to tuck the kids away.
Fuck that.

oh, I did NOT chuck the mini-lightninged bag.  Just flipped it around so's the 'dirt'-like stuff is mostly on the bottom w/myceliated straw on top.  Smells like potting soil and mushrooms... ???

WTF- I wanna see where it goes.  Full cycle.  Then I'll add seed, like grass or something, and see how long it goes on.  Paper towel to wipe down the sides a little- decided to leave it in there - for side pins- 'cause I believe it WILL fruit some more.

Heh-heh... I misplace stuff all the time, even when I consciously remind myself to remember that I'm leaving 'it' there...

Drayce. Like he said. Burn that with fire. I've seen some scary stuff but that thing is out of control.

Found my alcohol. I have to get another spray bottle so I always can keep one in the closet. I just use alcohol spray for everything so it's always getting misplaced. Fuck I even spray bugs with it.

Anyways I'm excited. I decided to do the KSSS and the TOC so 5 jars of each. Fuck yeah. Been working on this KSSS and TOC forever and it just grows like crazy on the plate. It's totally worth taking the time to clone and transfer. Can't wait to see how they both turn out. Maybe I'll have better luck since I these jars were knocked up directly from plates. I was tempted to drop my lucy but something doesn't seem quite right on the plate. There is one spot that looks like they mycelium may have engulfed a contam. It's like a very faint shadow. Better transfer it a few more times.

Thanks.

I'll just do my own thing and suffer the consequences.

I'm not supplying the neighborhood or selling mushrooms or otherwise spreading dis-ease or harm, so- no need to go burning shit.
It's one experiment that I posted on here before- in 'confessions' so, whatever man.

What I don't get is why people seem to need to 'correct' or disapprove of someone else's post.
I could see the response if I were starting my own 'instruction' or 'grow log' or something meant for educational purposes, but me sharing the stuff I do that I think may be amusing or whatever for others is just that.  possibly Entertainment?

DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR DOING!!!  AHHH- you're going to kill the whole neighbrhood!!
MWAhaaaHaaa!1 Yessss, that was plan from the veerrry start.... heh-heh-heh......

I keep ISO and water in similar spray bottles.  Despite keeping them in different areas this afternoon I accidentally used the ISO to spray a pinning tub.  I didn't even notice until I switched bottles as the first wasn't spraying well.  The smell of ISO after the first spray of water  :foreheadslap:

I confess I'm pretty damned pleased with myself for growing this exotic shroom.
It was a shit ton harder than growing cubes and took me more than a year of tending.

Psilocybe Subaeruginosa

Next year I hope I have more than a few fruits to show for my efforts...

As a major part of the quail life cycle I can assure you that the rich beutiful soil odor you are smelling is most definitely trichoderma. It's the universe's way of telling you to feed quail.

Edit: Oysters produce a similar smell with plastic-y anise tones, cubes should smell like a gamey batch of button mushrooms.

Congratulations PsilopsychIn, I want to try that myself, P. Cyanescenes is something else that I have plans to try my skills on.

Edit: That one on the right looks like a sombrero. The left one is beautiful to in its own way.

You know what's less cute?

Ordering in about 200 petri's from China (from a goddamn freakin factory who knows damn well why they should pack them how), and then getting them wrapped in ultra-thin sleeves, all sleeves crammed together in a big black plastic sheeting, with air pocket protector thingies, and then all wrapped VERY tightly with broad packing tape, to ensure the air pockets cram it together SO DAMN TIGHT, that every damn sleeve tears itself open on the petri's of the sleeve next to it, and probably before it even got sent.

Gotta explain that logic to me. Of course, I was in no mood to email a Chinese representative about their fuck-up. I still have the plates and will UV-C blast them soon.

Something along those lines probably, yes. I imagine a bit more "solly sil, no undelstand, please hold", repeat ad infinitum, to pass, before reaching that point though.

Confession: I don't even know how long it's been that I took a good dose. But today's the day. Quitting smoking is a real bitch and I'm hoping for some relief through the magic of mushrooms. I'm not getting my hopes up but at the  same time, crazier things have happened, so who knows...

When I'm in the middle of a trip I just can't smoke (shrooms are wise) but during the comedown I usually smoke cigarette after cigarette with a vengeance. The comedown also makes me want to post stupid, inane stuff in any thread.

Quittin is tough Lizard, hang in there.
