I confess I want nothing more than to see you transform that 600 elbows of rye into 600 elbows of penises. I don't know when the shroomery became an alchemistic anatomy class, but I like it.

(Actual) Confession:
I dropped a tote with some freshly washed glass half pint jars yesterday, all 4-5 in the tote (was mostly packed out luckily) smashed to pieces. It fucking suuuuuuuckked. I had glass shards all over my room's floor. Now I'm short on jars, I HATE loading the PC with half a load, which is what I'm gonna have to do, I need as much fresh cooked grain as possible.

Half pints for grain? You did yourself a favor. Now go get some quart jars. That will up your spawn amount big time.

Yeah, or least those tapered 24oz dealies (4 those BRF cake people). What's the aversion to plastic whatever for? Save the environment I'm guessing, or just uniformity, or nostalgia, or just to stubborn to use and so on....
Crikey- I nocc'ed my first grains in 3# bags. It was around 3qts. each-awesome.

I had to throw away 8 cakes yesterday cause I opened my SGFC an seen like 5-6 fruit flies and 1 cake had some trich on it. They had already put out the 3rd flush but were still pushing out fruits but I had 4 jars of PESA that I was getting ready to put into the SGFC

Pilo reminded me about the vinegar trick for fruit flies. I used to use wine. Anyways it works like a charm. Set a small container with a drop of dish liquid and as they hatch they will all die before they can make more flies. I'm not sure if that works for fungal gnats. The people upstairs are always bringing them inwith their bananas and so I have to bleach my drains a few times a week and have no standing water. The little tin works wonders. They also love light so if you make the room dark except where the trap is it works even better. Mine is in front of my TV. No more problems with flies.

Sorry if you are seeing this again.Posted it in the wrong forum. I confess I am so in love with these mystics. Been printing all my bonus mystics for future work.
The future of my work. More bonus shrooms of massive size from the purple mystics. Not sure why this tub is still spitting them out by hey whatevs. I have a whole month of downtime due to poor planning so I'll just water it till it contams or runs out of nutes. I found a mushroom growing on just a sprinkling of substrate. Weirdest thing ever. Just growing on the plastic. Does that mean it's a good one to clone?
