Ok here goes my confession, don't judge me guys.

Sometimes when I see others get awesome results I get a little envious..

So as for ozone issue is that stuff builds up in the room and is actually bad for you. Ultraviolet light could be an interesting way to aid in keeping your lab aseptic but other traditional measures should be taken as well. If you are such a mad scientist you should totally look into building yourself a professional style lab grade flow hood and share the plans. My HEPA has an ultraviolet light where the air comes out. I was going to get one with ozone till I read how bad ozone was for you.

My friend said to me today you should show me how to do what you do it's cool. You're like Walter White but with fungus. I told them this is nothing like breaking bad. It's not glamorous at all and no one is nearly as honor bound. People don't like prison and most will say anything they can not to go back. You have a really nice job and a good life so for you it's not worth it. They said yeah it's  probably better that way. Then I said but i'll teach you how to grow some oyster mushrooms to start if you like growing your own food. Then they said I don't know if I have time for all of that with my schedule. Then I sat silently for a second and then said to myself let it go. Just let it go. :needssalt:

Nahhh. My friends super cool. We are family. One of the few people that knows and is extremely low risk as far as running their mouth. I just wanted to drill into their brain it wasn't glamorous and that they should just enjoy their nice life and stay under the radar. Their just kinda dorky and thought it was cool. I do have to have a few people in my life that can come into my home and especially someone who can take care of my kitty if anything happens.

Does anybody try crazy shit like intense ozone to de-contaminate or sterilize stuff?
Or like; use a 'violet wand' (which also creates ozone) for such things?

Here's what you're looking for, Drayce. Fly my pretty...

Once you're done playing mad scientist, please come back and tell us some christmas stories about crack in the hood.

:justcantwait:

This is the 'violet wand' I was talking about:

Plus the use of ozone for sterility & electromagnetic waves/sparks/earth frequency harmonics? and/or music, talking, singing to stimulate/shock mycelium, whatnot....

My friends are kinky. We have other uses for the violet wand. I find it much more effective for that than I would ever for mushroom cult.

I went back and looked at 11 year-old threads, and newer...
Nobody likes ozone + anything.

I was curious, because I have an ozone/UV/electrostatic/whatever all's hells in there box I fixed for a friend.  He told me to keep it.

I've been putting it on for an hour or so before I do stuff in my 'grow room' which is a storage room that I'm adding things to, and a SAB.

My logic is that Ozone outright kills some shit, and makes the rest stick to surfaces like walls and such.
Yes, it's not good to breathe, but O3 dissipates very quickly- it latches on to any available molecule with opposite charge- thus the sticky thing.
It doesn't seem to hurt anything-so far in my experiments- but I was just wondering if others might have used similar strategies past tense....

Whatever- It makes people chuckle anyhow.  :noob:

Definitely go look for them. It's like an adult Easter egg hunt. They are what got me interested in mush rooms in general. Plus they are freaking delish!

Been there bro, pull the trigger and make a clean break or show her you are putting your foot down and want out permanently/for a bit.  Only way things change.

I've had dried morels that I traded for years ago, sitting in my cupboard, for years. I don't know if they are still good, but I assume they are. Lots of health benefits from morels. I should make some morel soup...
