I went Sunday after it rained this weekend, Illinois, and found some edibles. Was dry for far to long in this area.

If you had no Iso 70% but hat ethanol 95+ surplus, could you dilute the ethanol to 70% and use that?

I mean.. you could, sure, but that's an abuse of the proper usage for ethanol. What will you drink when you're tired of feeling feelings?

Just seen this! What you find? I'm gonna hit the woods real hard this weekend. All this moisture and a little warmth the next 2 days shit is gonna be popping!

All I found was Hen and chicken of the woods and a couple oysters. I am attempting to clone one of the oysters so I have something conditioned to our area.
EDIT*** middle pic in my sig is of what I found, one Hen was way to old and tough.

Fuck yea! Nice yea oysters are all I've found this fall but slim. Hoping to pick up a hen this weekend got a bunch of oaks to check out. Feel like the chances are better now atleast. But shit it's always nice to get out and smoke a j with nature!
Those are some nice finds! You've got more moisture than were I am then. Those look like some nice young chickens though. I printed one of my oysters. Put it to agar the same time as my pinks but it's alot slower gonna take time to clean up

But.. i did get perlite, WBS 40lbs, cfl's and light fixtures... so wasn't a waste of time

Just a little trick that you could use for some practice. I used a jar with some water and a stack of plastic lids. This allowed me some practice lifting and setting of the stack without wasting petri. I have always heard that is the tricky part.

I think that is what most of the guys do. Zip lock bags are supposed to be sterile and I know a bunch of people store them in there.

1. buy a torch. its worth it.
2. wbs means bulk? perlite becomes obsolete
3. make a list

Wear a dust mask when dealing with lots of perlite , repeated exposure to that dust will give you perma lung damage somewhere down the road

I confess that about a month back I left a massive cluster of honey mushrooms, because I didn't know what they were until more research. When I went back they all were dead. At least I saw them on the same stump last fall, so they should be back next year, and I may get lucky and they flush again. It was a HUGE beautiful patch and there were other near by as well.
