Pyrex glass tubes are is better, and cheaper than discount vials.  Like four dollars cheaper, and you get 12 slants instead of 10.

Hi TA.  They are on eBay.  Last I checked they were running very low on the 12 packs.  Only other way to order them would be in a lot of 100 for like 70$.  That's still a great deal.

I confess mixing substrate while your room is humid AF and 75F can put a real strain on you if your a bit out of shape and intolerant of most things. I mixed 30 Quarts of sawdust and I feel sweaty and like I'm dying. Going to shower and cool off and then PC everything. I didn't realize how fucking hard it is to mix wet sawdust. I mixed in a half cup of chicken manure, gypsum and and bran. Let's see how that works out. As I predicted as the oyster mycelium multiplied it managed to engulf the yeast. Fuck you yeast. And yay for resihi and oyster bags. What grain spawn to sterilized substrate ratio does one recommend for oysters?

Also I hope those birds are ok from eating the slightly suspicious jar of PESA mycelium I threw outside. I prolly should have thought of that. Those birds are gonna trip balls.

Why are you so curious about my pics mushroom_therapy? Actives? What are you talking about actives? I grow food. I'm just a nice girl with Ehlers Danlos who spends too much time watching netflix with my cat and doing science experiments. Nothing to see here.

Nah, if they munch on these grains at all they'll wait until the myce is dried up.

Haha. Tell that to the squirrels man. They don't wait for shit. I have a super friendly one in my yard. He's a little weirdo and eats anything I throw to him.

I can produce food. I can cook food. And I'm not here to play show and tell with you. Also I'm committing imaginary murder in my mind with you in the starring role of victim. It's a sordid tale involving the removal of your penis with a paring knife. I'm still working out the details. All hypothetical of course. Still curious? :brainscream:
