I confess I keep staring at this APE swab and thinking about how awesome my next mono will be. Also excited about transferring my TOC's and KSSS soon. Also this pink oyster print is the prettiest thing I've ever seen. I had no idea they made pink spores. It's so amazing. It's a shame pink oysters don't stay pink when you cook them.

I confess I use mycology to save me from myself. I've struggled in my past with drug abuse and depression. I don't deal well with idle time. Mycology fills this void.

I've got plenty to do when its day time and not raining. I have a house, land, tractors, motorcycles and all kinds of equipment to use and maintain but when it's all done and it's dark and raining I tend to lose myself into the void. My mycology just won't allow this. There's always something I can do. After all you can only paint your bathroom so many times.

I credit this cut wood and carry water philosophy to me being clean from any ball and chain substance for nearly 3 years

Thank you psilo for this thread. You know I love you and I miss your face

For real, expand to edibles and you may be able to make some legal extra $ with your healthy hobby.

Are you trying to grow oysters or something like that mushboy? You can have half my pink oyster print. It's really big.

Pretty much all edibles will be in the form of cultures/spawn that are proven to be good fruiters.  Just an FYI.

I got a big ass blue oyster one I can share part of. Sadly when I tried germinating some of it before, all I got was contaminations though.

Yeah. I will have to work on making a nice strain with the pink oyster print. When I grow out a nice blue oyster culture I can send a piece of that someday. Still working on my transfers. I really need to make some agar.

First mycobag I inoculated I forgot to unfold the bag from each other.

But mushroom cult has made me more aware of myself andhelps with my depression and allows me to slow my thinking.

I confess I have close to 20 transfers needing to be made that are slightly overgrown for my liking but I just remembered I'm out of butane and I don't feel like using a lighter to get my blade red hot over and over... will this drive to the gas station actually happen today?

We will know about 15 minutes after this solo smoke sesh

It won't. But if you have an alcohol or oil burner, that will be used. Or a candle for that matter.. Beats having to relight every time.
