I've let mine sit for too long un heated just mixed at room temp like a few hours or so (can't remember exactly how long) and it didn't solidify all the way in the pc.
Kinda like yours
Did you leave yours for any long amount of time before pcing?

I've only ever had an issue with it not setting up when I measured incorrectly or the scale was set to the wrong unit(measured incorrectly)...

maybe the micro unevenly heated the agr and caused it to not gel correctly.
Microwaves can be bad because they can be heating one part super hot while another part is freezing still.
just a thought I'm not totally sure but I would think you should stir 1 or twice during microwaving to even out the heat.
Or bring to a soft boil in a pan. that's how I do it.

Quite simple. Nutrient solution for all kinds of life, leave it out for too long, gets life in there, life grows some more until it's killed off by the heat, in the meantime, it all went sour.
Unless you didn't allow enough time for that to happen. In that case, I'd say you fucked up in weighing out the agar. Can't really think of anything else... If the coloring is sour, that would fuck it up just as well..

10g on a scale only reads so many ways. granted im a tard and i fuck up the basics.. but not that time. it did not sit out..who knows. worst case i can always make some 123 agar and just pour it into dishes.

yah. i did not measure correctly.

made it half strength. only this is mae AGAR powder. so you cant really go half on nutes without skimping on the agar.

That's as bad as the time I cam on here complaining my agar wouldn't set because but it was because the jars were slightly too warm still.
I confess I got a package today from Hamloaf that almost ruined my panties.

Oh my BC that is some myco nerd love there... I know what you mean though. My first package from Ham made me feel like a 8 year old kid on Christmas morning!

Not just Hammie's though. MM sent me a KSSS print once, and the way he presents them is awesome! Those round foil discs just look so slick!
random myco confession: I never got a full canopy. I got close a few times, but more than half the time I fruit small bulk subs (like 1-1,5 qt) as cakes because of major side pinning. Just can't seem to get surface conditions optimal. In my defense, my grow room is comparable to a tent out in the field. Lots of FAE, even some wind getting through, heating up like crazy when it's sunny out, and nasty AF. I get it done though and my latest 2 GT subs put out 5 and 6 flushes

SixTango/Mycota/agar/myco.alchemist taught me how to give packages. One day way back when I was a new spore around here he was like shoot me your address, and I'll send you a little something nice, so I did, and he did. Took me about a year, or, so to figure it out, but I saw what he did with that package. Been immulating that guys style in the giveaway department ever since.

Good Morning True Confessors
Just putting it out there that I will review contest entries this weekend and announce a winner on Monday. I'm loaded up with Tazmanian, KSSS, and Ps. Serbica spore prints, but I don't have much else. If you are a winner and don't want one of those, my next printing project will probably be Cambodian Gold and I should have some of those by the end of the month.
Thanks for playing and making this a great thread. We are some quirky weird folk and we should celebrate that. Invite your friends in to confess their myco secrets!
