Make sure its worth it. Then you owe him a favour. Remember, he is an ex for a reason.
Hope you all had a good weekend.

I wish I had just went with 3/4 inch plywood instead of 1/2, but it is working our ok, AND will cut weight a bit. I am making the box that will go around the fan and hold pre filters, completely separate and will screw on, so I can take pieces off to lighten it if I need to move it. 24.5x24.5x28 is a big box, lol/

A detachable face would be sweet. Did you see my build? Nothing fancy but has pics of the pieces/steps I took...sounds like you have it figured, though. You'll be pleased with your decision to put one together!

He's super cool. We don't really owe one another anything. We do stuff because we don't hate one another and in the end it benefits him to help me. Not in a sexual manner. It would be a super easy thing for us to tackle together. He's my ex because I discovered he's asexual and his idiosyncrasies are a bit much for me.
The dick was for MadHatter and his flow hood boner.

So dirty myco confession.
I had some pint cakes that have been siting around for a LONG time now. Some had stalled, last of some exhausted culture. I said fuck it and spawned them, rinsed off uncolonized parts on a couple, most were fully colonized. Well one of the partial ones actually grew some cobweb mold. I got it out right away at least.

I'm going for 0.3" walls. I've got a pretty hefty blower (2500 cfm without pressure, 1450 watts), think I should add reinforcements for the middle of the walls? I'd think it would hold... I am gonna use both screws and glue..

That was me... Couple of months back, I discovered giant sterilizers also make me horny. Can't seem to find the type that made my toes curl anymore though. It was like a giant (like 1500 qt and up capacities) AA but with a round bottom, and hanging in a rig that you could use to turn it on it's side. With something like 25-30 screws holding the lid down. I'd be hella nervous the first time I ran one like that. The pressure on a lid that big...

Several actually. To be completely honest, that was one of the thoughts going through my head, like, chop up 3 dead guys and stick em in jars, sterilize them and you would save some serious freezer space!
I like to think about how to kill ppl without anyone ever finding out it was you. I don't think I'd ever do it, but it entertains me to think about it. I've come up with a few ways over the years, but to avoid ppl going missing all of a sudden, I'll refrain from posting them
Some have to do with poisonous mushrooms

So I ran out of gas for my portable stove, so have had to resort to using my electric stove for PC'ing past couple days. It's small, so many runs are needed for me.
I now exist in constant fear of death by PC... And a descending, then ascending pitch of PC whistle. It's like a mini metal dude sitting on my stove, getting randomly pissed off, then chilling out like 2mins later, looping every 10 mins...
I could just stop sterilizing things/sub, but I don't want to!
Gotten attached to my bipolar PC. Never knew he was so expressive.

Ugh, electrical stoves... Ever since I moved to a gas stove, I don't want to use an electrical one no more. When I move on to a sterilizer, I'd like it to be an electrical one, but I have a feeling they won't be as quick to heat up. Though gas comes from oil, and I do have a problem with that as well.

My Secret Pride: I'm taking/trying agar seriously today for the first time and its been a big hurdle for me for some reason. I also had my first successful flush in a monotub, even with its massive amount of side pins. been trying for years on and off to get a monotub to grow, and finally just saw results.

I must confess that I can not wait to get the flow hood done and in use. I REALLY want to put some ovoid and cyan spores to agar. Hope is to have fruiting cyan next fall.
O YEA I also got some Psilocybe sub spores to put to agar as well

Agar won't solidify if it's too acidic. Not sure how it gets to that point though.

Hmmm....you could try ditching the food coloring, add dry ingredients to vessel, add room temp water to target ml and pc for 25-35 min depending on volume. All that said, it looks like there is a solidified puck at the bottom of the bottle...what was your method?
