True confession of an amateur mycologist.. to be fair it wasn't my idea and I said it was a waste.. my buddy couldn't grow in his parents house anymore lol so he took his leftover cakes, mixed with dog poo and cased with soil and pine needles where we trip. Needless to say nothing ever happened, and I learned to hunt cincts. My girlfriend at the time got such amazing weed and had patches upon patches of gorgeous cincts at her horse barn/pasture. I didn't even have to grow for 4 years.

I confess, I look forward to getting laid off today so that I can devote more time to mycology work.

Confession: I cannot stop looking at my first agar to grain...it's only been 4 days and I've been checking twice a day. I think the novelty will wear off with the next jars I make, I was like this with my first PF cakes too, but I just leave the cakes alone nowadays on the rare occasion I do them.

I'm guilty of doing plenty of stuff already said..
Can't walk into a store without looking at things to see if it's fit for mush cult.
Always take a look in "that aisle" which might have something related to cultivating, even if I was there the day before and they never update their stuff.
Prices on WBS never gets lower even if I look every time I pass that shit.
Checking everything plastic if it's pp5.
Everything looks like mycelium, the snowy fields looks like poorly made big ass trays when the train goes by and branches or trees on them looks like uncolonized coir strands from far away..
Shit, a part of my backyard grosses me out. It has a 30'x30' fenced square and most of it is only dirt, but one corner has grass on it and it looks like trich, when I look at it from the second floor because the square sort of resembles a casing, with snowy bits looking like mycelium poking through.
When I read about people on here procrastinating their growing I get pissed because there is nothing I'd like to do more than smelling the WBS cooking or doing agar transfers or watching knots turn into pins :roll eyes:
Other stuff as well, not breathing when working in front of a flow hood or in a SAB.
All I read about sterile technique and it's importance in cultivating made me a bit OCD and my sterile technique in the beginning was better than my trust in myself and I had to drop agar plates and open grain jars just to see if contaminates were something I could spot.

I confess that I'm extremelly pissed off right now for my stupidity, I was using the magnifying glass tool phones have to look at the knots forming on one of the tubs and I dropped the phone squashing some knots and making an ugly dent on the pseudo-casing, fuck!

So would that mean 2 is also PC able? High density polyethylene?

A cursory search shows wiki says "For common commercial grades of medium- and high-density polyethylene the melting point is typically in the range 120 to 180 °C (248 to 356 °F). The melting point for average, commercial, low-density polyethylene is typically 105 to 115 °C (221 to 239 °F). These temperatures vary strongly with the type of polyethylene." So I guess the answer is 'maybe, depending on the type' and that in general most polyethylene is a 'prolly not'
is my guess anyway

Lol I don't want to hear that, tell me it doesn't matter, fuck.
You think dropping a bacterial af phone is going to cause problems? Subs can take a lot of beating from harvesting and such. I hope it will just set that spot back a few days...

She's still looking pretty
Shitty phone pic though, if it had been taken with my camera you'd see the dent.
