How exactly did you clean and cook it. I was thinking next time I'll cut it into stars, boil it for 8 hours, and drink the tea.

thats what i did. ive done it about 8 times. only once were the cacti really potent.
some really bizarre melting into the earth/eaten by serpents kinda trip. intense:thumbup:

but the other times were rather benign experiences. not bad just not enough.

Me too!! Don't have the filter or blower in yet, but I've started drawing up the plans and made the prefilter and a grill to mount it on. The blower I'll be picking up in about a week, the filter will be delivered in about 2 weeks. Can't wait!

Since it is difficult going down it is best to simmer it till the volume is reduced significantly- that's what I hear from folks doing it.

Its bitter as fuck and the more you reduce it the more bitter it gets. I gagged and dry heaved a few times getting it down. Even plugging your nose doesn't help. Its just really horrible whichever way you try to drink it

I just went through all the kinks in my plan and discovered how much bigger than I tought my hood is gonna be. It's gonna be a monster. I didn't realize how big 24x24" is, until I was measuring out some perspex windows I have laying around. I'm getting horny just thinking about how big it is. It's like a major power trip or something...

True confession: I just realized how much of a mycology nerd I am.
