I confess that I know it's a really bad idea but I can't afford to buy a tall cat tree yet. I will have to allow her to keep her spot on the top ventilated shelf I just cleared off for oysters. She'll get all emotionally wigged out if she doesn't have a perch. I'll just have to cover the top holes and change her blanket frequently.

Buy some rope, find yourself some cardboard tubing (for posters and whatnot), wrap it around, put some fake fur over some plywood or whatever, mount it, done! My table has a scratching pole with a snake coming out of it, all rope (except for the cardboard tubing inside of course). It's the thick rough kind of rope, I think it's made from hemp or something.

She already has a scratching post. I just need her to have a place to sit really high up in the air. It's a psychological thing with cats. Makes them feel secure. I have a really well behaved cat who's never broken anything because she has her little spot and I have lots of glass around. I'd have to adjust her slowly to another stable platform. I can work it out for a month.

Maybe try mounting just a board on 2 squares against the wall (the L shaped things) right beside, but a little up from the place she sits. Drop her favorite blanky on it and wait. Ime, cats love whatever place is comfy and highest. So in a way, they're like us. They just like to get high.

I'll try to build something for her before everything needs to be fruited. I'll go see if the lumber yard has some wood scraps they are willing to part with and I can just put in a few brackets. I just have to not put too many holes in the wall and piss off my chode of a landlord. I just realized kitty won't appreciate the humidifier I am installing for them anyways. Kinda forgot about that part. Always work for this damn hobby.

You need to go shake that face somewhere else mister cause I ain't moving nowhere. Worked too damn hard for all that face shakin b.s. of yours.  :alphabrain: You shake near me and I'll make your brain explode.

I confess it's my birthday in 30 minutes and I'd rather it fast forward 24 hours to the next day.
I don't like the obligatory replies to the birthday texts from family members that don't really give a shit about you except for formality.

Nobody likes you when you're 23

I don't think it's a bad idea to try and go legit and grow some stuff for farmers markets and save up enough money to leave.

And I confess I shocked myself when my first thought on reading TBC's comment, was those mushrooms that could be used to hide / dispose of the roomate's body!!!
