I accidentally filled my spray bottle with 90 percent instead of 70 and lit one of my gloves on fire after spraying my hands because I had some alcohol still in the folds of my gloves that didn't dry. I then panicked ran to the bathroom and dunked my hand in the toilet. Cause ya know I'm smart like that.

I just butchered one of my mini mono's with a buck knife and a torch. The whole unmodded thing was getting too dried out so I threw six 1.25" holes around it and layered it with MP, a la Pasty.
Gonna see how it plays out, dial it in and if the results are good I'll mod my others

fae is good for your shrooms
there is a reason people started using holes in their tubs 20 years ago.
you running any fans in the room?
im actually doing this bulk set of runs with no fan. so far its working out. im also testing some different tightness of filters stuffed in the holes themselves so its kind of a guessing game on this run.

Someday I will grow the apes and I will set them free and it will be planet of the apes! heheh
I totally ordered those disks and the adhesive you told me to get. I payed a few extra bucks to get it from the same sponsor but it was worth it cause I don't have to take the bus and it all comes in one package.
I decided to grow my oysters indoors and ordered some bags while I was there too and a few other things. Now I just need my jar lids. Moving on up! Honestly after preparing and taping and then wrapping 24 half pint jars for agar I had to do it. I'm so over it already.
Also can anyone show me where there are some really good photos of fully colonized pan cyans? I just need to know what it looks like compared to cubes. I'm pretty sure I'm doing good but always nice to check.

My sab is totally sealed. I have equine exam gloves siliconed over the arm holes so it is a true still air box. It's modeled on one we had in the lab for working with pathogens minus the exhaust fans, that's why I'm considering the polyfill stuffed vent holes.

Custom made alcohol burner I made with a 1/2 pint wide mouth jar. I have used it for almost a year now with no incidence (since I started using 70% iso. To wipe it down instead of 190 grain alcohol I used in the original small, open arm box), but I do worry about fumes when I haven't used it for a few hours after loading it. I have had zero contamination problems since I made this one and can still keep the a/c on in the burning ass heat.
It works better when it's not totally sealed and you flame outside the box. Your oil lamp is actually creating a current inside your glove box which moves air around and defeats the whole pourpose of a still air box

That is how mine was setup and it was more trouble for me than what it was worth.
