Just got back from the stores, I was only able to score another 12pk of jars, some more mini monos, dehydrated lime, perlite, and verm. The nursery doesn't carry gypsum and they only have peat moss in 3.4 cubic ft bags so I told him I'd come back lol.
Then the pet place is out of eco earth smh thankfully i cooked my last brick today the guy said they get more on friday so i hope my spawn will wait!!!!

scored a brand new Presto 23 plus a few dozen jars rings and lids included
plus a bunch of awesome cannining equip for 80 bucks even.

Not really about cultivating or anything, but my biggest myco-nfession is years ago I was unemployed and times got really rough. I was hunting out of extreme necessity. Various coprinus/ Coprinopsis and dryad's saddles saved my life. The thing is though, at the time I knew so little about mushrooms that i was stepping over "dangerous" looking chanterelles and running in fear of "obviously toxic" Laetiporus Cincinnatus. Better off safe than in a pine box, though. I knew enough to survive, and that's how I'm still here to type this now without any bans or petty theft charges. Gotta give it to me, though, most kids 19-20 would have just stole from a store in that situation.

Ya such an awesome site haha. Just search mason jars or canning supplies
I'm sure there's tons of ads for both

It helps to have them understand how much of a mycophile you are. That means trying to scare them away with your myco shit, litteraly. Just for a bit, but then you tell them how it is and ask them if they can live with that. There will still be the moments where you are balls deep in her pussy and you actually would way rather be elbow deep in your SAB that moment, but hey, that's life. Sometimes you gotta fuck a pussy when you'd rather be double fisting a plastic box. That's just how it is.

this literally had me laughing good. things aren't going to work out for a couple months. it's not the right time for either of us. but when the time comes I will take your advice. that ass is sweet though. and she gives me my space when I need it so it shouldn't be a problem, I am just super conflucted in so many ways right now. I need a good, long SAB session to straiten things out in my head, it's been a couple months now. it's time

Took this earlier, almost made it til the end without fuckin up.
I haven't really nailed the whole process down as you can see like pouring a couple too thick or getting the dishes out of the bag. but it has been a couple months since I've had an unintended/satellite contam that didn't come from the transfer mycelium itself so I'm either gettin lucky or there's really just not that many contams floating around in here

Don't need to recycle anything yet. I mean I got distilled water and sterile syringes so I can just boil the water and suck it up.

I confess that I'm a bit nervous about my second try sterilizing test tubes. The caps melted in the first time, ran it at 20 psi. Tried a regular boil on a cap and it held tight, so now I'm trying 15 PSI. They're sold as sterilizable in the PC so they should hold.. Looks to be PP. The PP bucket I put them in was slightly warped too, but it touched the side of the cooker where it warped, so I'm thinking it'll all be good at 15 PSI, but it still gets me all anxious. Opening it up just to have to do it all over again is no fun.

They did not hold up. Time to contact the webshop that sold them as being sterilizable...

That's the second time I'm prepping and sterilizing 32 tubes just to throw em out again. I'm pissed. It's even a shroomery vendor. :epicfacepalm:
