I like my rye berries for now. I have a place I can check out near me I keep forgetting about. My Walmart doesn't sell grain like that. Too close to the city. I just like these rye berries for now. I can use some for stews and some for jars.

I live in one of the top 10 most populated cities in the US, that has nothing to do with your walmart not having it lol

Show me a link where it says it's 5 dollars to my door. I don't want oats. I want rye or millet or any kind of wheat berry.

Bird seed at walmart, there's a few different blends, less than a dollar a pound and some are mostly white millet with some stray sunflowers and twigs, doesn't make a difference.
Why spend so much money on the one resource we use the most when you could use it for other materials. I understand your whole point of eating them too but that still doesn't equal efficiency. I swear not too long ago you were talking about your difficulty cultivating because of low funds. Sometimes taking others suggestions may help you out in the long run, even financially

I find the wheat buckets acceptable. It looks less odd for me to be storing those than animal feed. Plus at about 60 cents a lb. it's doable.

I was reading and it's not organic. I'm concerned it could contain fungicides.

Your organic hypoallergenic gluten-free kamut berries are obviously the superior choice here

Actually I'm going to eat the kamut berries. And kamut is an ancient unmodified strain of wheat. Learn what gluten is before you try being smart. I'm using the rye berries I got for 1.15 a lb. Fungicides can be used post harvest. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fungicide

If you're determined to overcomplicate things then fungicides haven't been a problem for the multitudes of cultivators that flock here

So are you saying we could grow on fruity pebbles?? Maybe it will taste and smell like our favorite cereal ..
If fungicides on our grain was an issue then we would only use high dollar grain not shit we buy with bird feathers sticks and whatever else is in it..
Youre putting waaaay too much brain power into nothing
