Only mushboy is allowed to look at me like that. He's a bit grossed out by me right now for petting geese so it may be awhile before I get that kind of creepy longing from him.
Yeah adjusting the nutes is the thing. I have to go look into percentages. I think I will try and stick to more traditional formulas to start when trying to do particular things with mycelium growth.. Still reading the Mushroom Cultivator. Have a few chapters I'd like to finish before starting my transfers tomorrow.

Yep. Totally skeeved by the idea of bacteria and mites.
I'm always feeding the ducks and geese. They have become kind of pets. It's like if I decided to cook a cat one day at this point.

I confess to still being up at 4am because I forgot to close my pressure cookers steam valve. I'm so fucking tired and just want this to be done.

I confess that my hot plate is officially dead and surely based on my indicator did not even come close to sterilization. I'll have to have to exchange it for a new one on Wednesday and be a little gentler with it next time. Meanwhile I'll have to just go to bed and bring the pressure cooker upstairs tomorrow and put a do not open sign on it when it's done.

BCat, Not putting you down when i say this. In time with the right attitude you will no longer need to deal with sponsors and there shipping policies. People take care of each other in a real community.
Also, Keep it real. The weekend away didn't work out because you had Myco on your mind. It's cool, don't fight it.

the first 'shroomy' person to send me a print here gave me one so fucking dense!
so dense that i could take a flake of spores off with my blade and put it in a empty petri i put what i needed from that flake to agar and stored the rest. i then sent the print out to another person making me 'shroomy' for passing the spores along. its all about being shroomy
i also confess i found out i sleep poorly if i have myco shit to do. ive got a few masters so ive been half assing the thoughts about prepping my grains. just out of laziness and putting other shit before it. like 'relationships' or ...'jobs'
but last night i got a good 20ish lbs of birdseed and 25 dry lbs of oats soaking.
i slept like a fucking baby last night. and all i needed was to prep some grains?
lesson? always have prepped grains for when you need them. just waitin for those masters to finish. now my mind wants me to sleep more to accelerate the time. check mate
i feel like taking a nap. but i got shit to do. ill sleep good again tonight after i pc all fuckin day

By growing shrooms and making them easily available to me and my friends i am improving my life and my friends's life and changing them for god. Love this site and you guys .
My confession:
I have like 2cc left of AA+ syringe and i had a really good luck with this syringe as i inoculated 7 jars of millet and only one got contaminated and had like 150g dried from this growth.
As i am not into agar yet (and i can't find it in egypt anyway) i am always worried about getting clean prints to make syringes from them and this syringe is so precious to me (i have lost the print that i used to make this syringe).
Need to use the last 2cc to noc 7 jars (will only use a few drops per jar) and i will start g2g the clean ones to expand and grow as much as i can.
But i am LAZY AS FUCK to prepare the spawn, noc em with the syringe, clean my tub and the pc.
I have been doing amphetamines and opium and always postponing the work but hopefully they will be finished on next Saturday.
& .

I will admit working and mush cult together makes it hard to keep up with things you have to get a routine down and not allow yourself to become lazy or you will just push it off till you are so behind it will never be where you had it ..
When i was making deliveries i would wake up at 8am and be gone most of the day i would be home a few hours here and there .. but didnt wanna get busy and someone call me so id wait till later well later was too late and i didnt feel like it ...
I got so far behind on my myco shit i really had to start from scratch

I am cutting back on spawning and even knocking up jars. I think I will work mostly on my agar game, and try to test some clones and just different varieties. The cakes are easy and I will run them for a steady supply.

I ordered empty syringes not full ones. Everyone here has been super awesome. So far I've received two prints. One is a purple mystic which was as dense as you describe mushboy. I totally flaked that off. The other is the pan cyans both of which are on agar now. So excited. Finally getting to pressure cooking the agar again upstairs. Fucking hate neighbors. Can't wait to move.
My weekend was fine. I just get really stressed out if I spend too much time around people especially if I've been hermeting for awhile. I really like getting back to my own bed. It can be super overstimulating.

And now the questions start. "So what are you doing. Are you making soup." And I'm all like no just sterilizing some food I'm canning. I wish people weren't so god damn curious. But Damn my pressure cooker seriously got up to pressure fast on the stove. Quieted a lot of my fears about it not being ok to PC on my flat top. I still need the hot plate for mixing and pouring agar. Still not in the mood to explain what I'm doing there.

So here is my chosen pan plate to transfer. It seems pretty hardy The other one were not so great. Most of them really didn't thrive. This one however grew in a really crappy plate with barely any moisture that's now three weeks old and was much more aggressive. There appears to be no bacteria on the plate as well. How many plates can I make with this? I'm glad I let the purple mystics grow out a bit more. I can easily pick out the best ones now. Also I got tons of clean plates now. Yay! Do you think this plate will be ok till tomorrow night? It looks a bit dry.
