You can slice stab or shred it, it dont matter the mycelium will grow off the pin onto agar

Awwwe. But it's so cute. Why stab it if I have surgical tweezers and I can just gently lift it up without trying to dig it out with a scalpel.

I'm really super pissed that this site is stuck in the dark ages and has a smiley called tard with a photo of a mentally challenged person. Who thought this was a good idea ever? I want to petition for it's removal. It's ableism plain and simple. It's not even a funny stereotype. It's just sick.:tard: This kid clearly has some form of intellectual disability and using his photo to poke fun at other people is cruel. What if that was your son or other relative. I don't think their is any place in mushroom cultivation for this.

To whoever thought this was a good idea can I post a photo of your naked mom up and call the smiley skank? Just saying. :skank:

I think you are right from an entirely ethical point of view, but from a personal point of view, I think there is definitely room for it here. There's a lot of calling ppl faggots and stuff too, and it's not like I endorse it, but when it's used in a friendly way, even though it feeds some form of fascism, I don't see it as a huge problem. People will always single out the weird ones, and make up names for those that don't fit in. I like to think most grow past it eventually, and most will continue to grow past to the point where the world is one big happy place, but that's gonna take a long time and a lot of generations. If we all had to start acting like perfect little angels, that wouldn't be good either. I understand your feelings, and I think you are right, but I also think that it's 2017, not 2025. You're ahead of your time, and that can hurt. I'd like to be in the year where people finally collectively realize what money is meant to do and what it actually is. If not preceded by the extinction of all forms of fascism, it will definitely follow. But hey, who knows how long that's gonna be... Not all ppl use shrooms...

We aren't talking about some random asshat calling someone else a faggot. We are talking about how this website represents itself. It has no right to take an actual photo of a mentally challenged kid and make a smiley called tard out of it.

And where the hell does fascism come into play here. Your argument is invalid. And you say most grow past it. When is this website as a whole going to grow and and move past it. They are the ones posting the smileys not us.

If someone can provide me with a concise valid argument about why it's ok to take an actual mentally challenged persons photo and make a smiley out of it called tard that's on a website that has a whole sticky post about how to be awesome to one other then I'll shut the fuck up. It just makes the people who run this site hypocrites.

Oooooh! There are things happening inside my purple mystic jars that look like mycelium. It's very faint but I can see the structure. Holy shitake! I only dropped the spores Monday morning.  :trippy:

Is there a name for the actual shape the mycelium makes in the dish? Kind of reminds me of a fuzzy snowflake when it first grows.

I confess...If this site goes all SJW...I'm out. Ain't got no time for that.

I confess that I am trying to teach my ex wife and her new man how to mushcult. I have never met the guy and don't plan to but the process has brought healing to a difficult situation.
The other part off the confession is that some of their fucking tubs were as nice/nicer than mine from my spawn (yes they are learning agar soon). Not many but still...Fucking attentive newbs these days.
