Hahaha! I had the lady at the checkout go "What're you doing with all this stuff?" I just said the first thing that came to mind which was "Making jam..." and she got all excited and starting telling us about a killer jam recipe and went "Bring me some when it's done!". Just went like "YEAH FOR SURE!" and ran away.

Dude I know that feel all too well I even have a little journal next to my grow so I can write down thoughts. Just so I can stop thinking about them and free up some space for other thoughts!
More than half of my dreams are either work or mushroom related...

Oh yes, I'm too hopped up on painkillers tonight to dare anyway, just watch the 10min DVD like 3 times and go over the manual too
All seriousness aside, I am amused at the thought of hugging it while at-pressure

I'm sad to report that I now pay more attention to detail with my sterile procedure in mycology than I do at the hospital working with patients...

It might relieve you to know, in a sort of "misery loves company" way, that I once got chewed out for not realizing that sterility in mycological work is significantly more strict than hospital work, indeed even surgical work. Hell, operating rooms are open-air

When I see someone wearing a tye dye shirt out in public for no reason whatsoever, I look at them as if they are purposefully reinforcing the stigma that mushrooms are drugs and serve no other purpose... and for that reason I automatically hate you because in my head you are solely responsible for discouraging people who would otherwise take interest in studying psilocin and it's potential as medication for debilitating conditions...
Which is fucked up because I have friends that wear tye dye shirts for no reason

Well, sterile procedure in hospitals are way less strict. We humans can fight off contaminants way better.

When I go to the bar I get told "I'm Kurt Cobain wearing tye dye"
Now I realize how funny that statement is.
