Wonder how worm castings would work in a grain cake for them.

BlueMillionMiles said: I'm not sure how it would work, since the actual larvicidal bacteria is a common contaminant of substrates, I think (wetspot?)...but I have used Gnatrol WDG in my houseplants and had some success with controlling gnats. Maybe place some soil in a pot nearby that has decaying plant material that's amended with bacillus thuringiensis bacteria? These gnats are RIDICULOUS where I live...they fit through window screens and they bite ME! Always at twilight...little bastards. I have sticky traps and WDG, and I place a bowl of red wine or beer or just water underneath a dim lamp in the corner when it gets dark. They drown themselves.
I also have noticed that they are repelled by eucalyptus, peppermint, any minty smell, really. Cool Mint Listerine works wonders. I recently got an essntial oil diffuser and I'm going to try running it near my grow with eucalyptus oil. I'm getting a ton of aborts, so maybe that's the problem , since I'm pretty sure FAE and RH are spot on. We'll see.

Watch out for the wetspot- they're both the same species of bacteria. So far, my essential oil diffuser is working like a charm and the gnatrol is in the other plants in the house.

I could prob find hpoo with all the horse farms around, I just don't know how I'd start a conversation with the horse farmer.. "Hey dude..I'm looking to purchase your horses dried poop..how much?" Lol
They'll eat my coir, and possibly some all grain fed pig poo. My gfs uncles has a couple pigs and knows I'm growing shrooms. He's in a wheelchair after a stupid accident and still likes to eat a few now and then, so imma hook him up with some. He has a few pigs he raises every year, and his wife only feeds them grain, and grain products. I could try some of that I guess. Worth a try? EXPERIMENTS!
I should do an EXPERIMENTS! Log in my journal lol

I CONFESS, I just dried 20 grams wet for almost 24 hours and it came out to over 4 dry

I confess,
Harvesting shrooms grown in the bottom of quart jars are impossible. No way to get them out without destroying the sub. Speaking of destroyed, did acid for the first time sat night and took 4 hits of straight dmt at the peak. Writing the trip report now.....

Nah they only get grains. I was asking them about it today, 100% no meat given to them. Increases the amount of fat on them or something. Idk, I don't raise pigs lol but they only eat grain so come kill time, I'll collect some poops.

Yeah this is why I don't fuck with poo. I know nothing about it, and coir is so damn easy. I'll feed them a variety of things and see what they like most of what I have.
I'll get into the poo one of these days.

Just ask them for some manure for your tomato and pepper plants. If they ask any info just tell them you have them in some big pots and are looking for some to top dress the plants with. Cause if you had a garden you would be asking for a much bigger amount.
