I'm buying one next month.  I know I could build one for much less, that's my confession.

Here is a confession for ya. One time I spawned 5 quarts of spawn to a brick of coir and 2 quarts verm in a 5 gallon bucket. Shit generated insane heat and went anerobic almost instantly. That shit was nasty.

So I became determined to spawn something even more retarded.

I usually cool mine. I've had way to many instances where my wedge slid
off my scalpel cause it was too hot and melted the agar.

My confession, I am terrible at keeping up with agar work. I get
distracted and tired and I sometimes put it off for so long that the plate
I wanted to transfer from overgrows

One time I spawned 7 month old WBS jars I made with LC made from spores. There was a couple shot glasses worth of metabs in one. Necrotic mushrooms in others. Shit was solid white and almost impossible to break up. It actually colonized the bulk sub a bit but it smelled like cat piss and dust so I tossed it.

Everyday at work I look forward to checking up on the boards on my break. The little things to get through a shit work day.

Also, my mental image of Pasty is Julian from TPB. Spawning tubs with a drink in his hand.

One time I knocked up a single quart of grain, filled to the brim, with 10cc of spore solution.

That should have colonized fine without a shake with that much spore solution... As long as the syringe wasn't disgusting.

I just spent a week with my sister and her kids. My eight year old nephew kept on asking what I do.
So I decided to just be honest with him-
I'm a mad scientist, I work in a secret laboratory.

The answer to all follow up questions was "It's a SECRET laboratory, stop talking about it."
