True confession: Almost lost the faith with my PE. PE envy was making me go squirrly...Everybody has been busting out such beautiful trays. You guys rock!

Literally have 190l run up at T3 and my test trays have not been fruiting ( I ran all my bacterial jars that couldn't be expanded)...Oldest mono is from May 14th...I never take risks like expanding unknown cultures w/o testing but did and will not ever again.

They are fruit-a-blobbing and life is good. :bb:

I have a confession I was gonna wait until July for, but I think you guys will apericiate it.

My girl has been super into this (more then usual since she helped spawn a blue oyster jar) and has been reading a lot through my account and wanted to try her own grow.

Long story short, her chosen method will be Kramer cakes, and MS syringes. At first I was like, :facepalm3: but figured cakes are a great way to learn and props on her for wanting to make the best cakes she could.

She did all the work. Read along with the tek. But just used some WBS we preped last night along with verm brf and gypsum. And she's gonna innoc in the SAB like she's seen me do a bunch these last few months.

It's like watching a grow log happen right before my eyes :p

Awwe. That was nice of ya to give me a print. Sorry I didn't have something more exciting to trade. I'm totally going to try them out. Just finally got my burner. I was so excited. I left my house and was like I'm going to so go get the burner and start the pasty plates when I get home. Finally 2 buses and 2 trains and a few miles of walking later I get home and say fuck it. Not tonight. I hate my EDS. I once told someone I had EDS before and they said you have what? An electric dance soundtrack. And I said I think your thinking of EDM. Although having electric dance syndrome would be way more fun than this. I always get so crazy ambitious and get half way and I'm like fuck it. At least I have everything I need now and I can start tomorrow for real this time. Also this stainless steel burner is a fucking tank. You could murder someone with it. I think it was worth spending the extra money for 500 extra watts and a steel construction. I got it for 26 bucks on sale and it's Kenmore. :growshrooms:

:ohyou: Heheh. No silly. I wish they made a straight forward pill for what I have. I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. It's a disorder affecting my connective tissue. If Gumby got arthritis that would be how I feel on the daily. It's really hard for someone to understand that unless you have it. Eat some shrooms and it will make sense.

I'll have to check that out later when I'm less sleepy

I've been on my antidepressants for about 13 years now. I hit tolerance years ago. I just never wanted to go any higher because they already had me so high. It's been a three year journey cutting down on them. I'm more than halfway from being on super high doses of Effexor, Tegretol and Lamictal. I just made it to the 50 percent mark on my lamictal making it officially  50 percent less. Antidepressants are horrible nightmare drugs. After awhile I just became apathetic. It feels like special hell to get off of Effexor. It feels like a constant comedown off of a mushroom trip for a weeks and you are just super out of it. At times you feel disassociated and depersonalized like your floating through some bizarre nightmarish world. You get these fucked up shock like sensations in your body and spine and brain zaps and there are days you wish you were just dead. Never ever start that shit. It's probably because you are starting to reabsorb more serotonin and neurepinephrine and your brain has to get used to it again. That's why there is that similarity when you come off of it. If I only knew then what I know now.

Maybe you know all this already, but here's an excerpt from a web page from Earth Clinic, a site which focuses on natural healing. Sorry if this doesn't do shit for you.

Quote:

Ehlers-Danlos syndrome pain can be treated effectively using a holistic or naturally-based system of treatment. Several supplements are particularly important for boosting the collagen in the skin and rebuilding elasticity. Vitamin C, MSM, aloe vera, gelatin and hyaluronic acid all help replenish collagen and restore skin firmness. Apple cider vinegar and honey as well as vitamin D are also important for restoring the balance of nutrients in the body. Additional elements of a holistic treatment plan include diet and exercise. Maintaining a healthy diet of whole foods and avoiding sugar can alleviate general pain associated with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. Yoga and other stretching activities can also tighten and realign the body’s structure and relieve pain.

I eat vitamin D gummies and I'm slowly figuring out what works. I only got diagnosed recently. I am starting physical therapy once I get an MRI of my back to make sure I don't do anything unsafe. Luckily my echocardiogram was good and they have ruled out the vascular type. He sent out for some more tests. he said something about me coming back if they are negative and checking for deletions in my genes or something like that and wants tot ake more blood and have another look at me. I seem to be some interesting puzzle for him. I suppose I shouldn't complain though because he's the first doctor that actually realized there is something that needs to be treated and didn't ask if i needed a therapist or more antidepressants.

I want to grow lions mane too to help repair some of the nerve damage and help with other things. there are some really great mushrooms I can cultivate to help.

Confession: I had a dream that there was a giant hole in my back yard. I fell into the hole and it turned out to be a cave. In the very center was a giant mushroom that went almost all of the way to the top. In my dream I decided not to ever leave this cave, and I started taking little bites out of the stem. Once visuals started to kick in, I woke up. I love mushroom dreams.
