I haven't cased grains in 11 years (since the summer of 2006), but tonight I cased 3 varieties into 8 different trays.

I recently spawned 2 mini monos. I did a "sandwich" with a layer of the grains between 2 layers of CVG. The later of grains grew back together fast, surface looked rather good and I saw a few knots so I threw a thing vermiculite casing on them tonight.

Dang. Did I up and join a boys club again. I don't mind all the guys but I wish there were some more female cultivators.
I confess I keep my house as clean as it is now because of my mushies. They really do keep you buys. Every flush you have to harvest and dry. Then you have to sanitize the bucket. Do a soak. Then you have to package everything when it's dry. There's no room for being sloppy or dirty or cutting corners. You just can't. After I lost my first grow I realized it was too much time and resources to lose. It's one of those things you have to learn by going out and fucking a few things up.
I finally got the last piece I need to go big coming in on Saturday. This was on sale for 60 bucks with the coupon and I used my exes prime. I also made a trade with him to get it. Get your mind out of the gutter it wasn't that kind of trade. Or was it? 22 quart T-Fal pressure cooker. Whut! Go big or go home bitches! And I got a pointy scalpel so I can perform brain surgery on myself. Likes the shiny pointy things. But yeah going to do some agar work. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01KWZEERC/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER
Tonight I confess to dropping my cake I removed from my soak and piecing it together and then trying to glue it together with all the wet loose bits. It should be fine. It's the second time I've done it already and it just grows back together. I should probably stop dropping shit though. Here is a photo of the third flush on one of my cakes. So sexy! I think it's interesting how some of them will bend towards the reflected light in the foil.

Great confessions Black Cat & congrats on the new tool! I have a 22 quart Miro that was my first big mush cult purchase but I bought it used ... So it was only 50 bucks. It will do 7 wide quarts - how about yours?

Thanks.
Well I assume the same as yours. The link to it is in my last post. You can also just look up the 22 quart T-Fal pressure cooker on Amazon.
I also confess that every once in awhile I go to amazon and click through the photos of the pressure cooker and think of how sexy it looks. I'm going to need more help than I already do if I keep this up. Gonna get schwifty with my cooker once it gets here.

God damn I love you guys... You too blackcat, even tho you're a girl, you're just one of the guys.. And yes, boys club. But boys clubs need a boyish girl in there every here and there. It spices up all the flavor.
NothingsChanged, how fucking awesome of a gesture is that? You're getting 5 shrooms from me for that! I mean, I know I'm not the receiver, but fuck that, you deserve em!

I must confess... When I think of how I'm going to be when I age, I think of me and my GF, and our ethnobotanical/medicinal/mushroom garden, my son who might have followed me on the healthy living path, and lately, every time I'm thinking of those things, I end up sitting at the laptop or computer, grey-haired, staring at the bigger old-people screen, and chatting with you guys, now all old-hands and half of us gone sadly, still fucking around with each other on the boards every now and then... And still pulling out a slant every now and then, just to see "if we still have it"

Ok I read on here you could use a folded towel on the bottom of a pc. I did 4 pint jars this morning....They were fine..... I went to do 2 more pints and set the timer once it got to pressure. I came upstairs to do some work...and about an hour into it I started smell smoke...So ran downstairs and my whole first floor was cloudy with smoke...I took the pc outside...opened windows and started fanning all the smoke out.... I'm assuming i burnt the towel up somehow.... Oh yeah it was pretty crispy...Shit got so hot in there that it melted the tyvek!!!

I have better and more trustworthy people in this community then irl. Seems a large majority of those that stick around on here are real down to earth chill people.
Confession I spend to much time on the shroomery because I like you guys lol. Just because I don't post doesn't mean I'm not reading I honestly get on every 20-30 mins or so.
the ones that aren't chill usually learn what they need and leave pretty quick. speaking of trustworthy. remember me bitching about my PC? nothings changed just did the best thing I would never ask for (because he's a solid dude!) he gave me an EBAY gift card with just enough for a brand new 23 qt presto!
Just doing what i can to make this planet a little less hostile and misrable. Never any strings atached!

I have 19 colonizing, dropped one, 20 to be knocked up today, O yea 6 knocked up with PE and KSSS spores. Then I have the 4 PP5 1qt containers colonizing. I need more wide mouth pint jars! Also going to need a few more SGFC, LOL.

id like to see more femaile cultivators too. when men are left alone to play we come up with a lot of dumb shit.
half this thread is an example of boys playing with toys too much.
