Thanks man. Its been tough over the last several years.....its like I'm wandering in a desert. Things are actually looking great now but stress is a mean bitch. It warps my perspective sometimes.
But hell, give this hobby up? What the fuck, thats not an option. Too many good things have come from my ability to grow shrooms.
I just need to break through

I confess that I'm always impressed by the spirit of community on the shroomery. There are some weird ass places in here where people can be bizarre and mean (for example, I pretty much never visit the pub, or OTD), but over all the people I meet and associate with in this community are solid good and loving people. Keep up the good Ju Ju folks

Kenetic - I hope whatever you were wrestling with in your APE journey works it self out. Those bad trips can be good in the long run.

I've never had a bad trip. I have had a few really deep, real, sad, self realizing trips where I cried and felt bad about my situation or how I treat my loved ones but I feel like I get more from those ones. and they aren't necessarily fun but they change me for the better more than the ones that I have a blast with. don't get me wrong I love to have fun trips too but I don't think they are nearly as meaningful

I confess that last year about this time I took a huge leap of faith with this community.
I flew thousands of miles and landed in a city I've never been to, got picked up by a guy who I'd hardly even interacted with on here but was referred to me by a person who I know well here but I'd never met in person ... he put me up in his home, we chilled and had a great time, then I got in his car and we drove for a whole day off into the middle of bum fuck nowhere... deep country and met up with a bunch of other shroomery guys and hung out for several days in the forest - awesome time, good people.
I tell you what though, as I was engaging the first steps of the journey and at several points early in the first few days I wondered just when I was going to see the FBI or DEA badge come out, or a huge bowie knife get pulled to gut me and take me for all I was worth... but that was just fear talking and it was solid from start to finish - a great time was had by all in the shroomery brotherhood.

That's really awesome dude. Sounds like one of the long term goals I'd like to accomplish as part of this community. Most here are more trustworthy than anyone I've ever known

I have better and more trustworthy people in this community then irl. Seems a large majority of those that stick around on here are real down to earth chill people.
Confession I spend to much time on the shroomery because I like you guys lol. Just because I don't post doesn't mean I'm not reading I honestly get on every 20-30 mins or so.

I've always felt like too much of an outsider in the community for me to even feel wanted there... like I feel like you have to be "in" could just be my insecurities and the fact that I don't have much personal interactions on here at all... whatever it is I want to go. Quote:

I know, that was just my long drawn out way of saying the "bad" trips are good, it's just perspective. people usually learn more about themselves that way

the ones that aren't chill usually learn what they need and leave pretty quick. speaking of trustworthy. remember me bitching about my PC? nothings changed just did the best thing I would never ask for (because he's a solid dude!) he gave me an EBAY gift card with just enough for a brand new 23 qt presto!

hell yeah man. Thats what I'm talking about. We walk around all day dealing with shitty people (sometimes) and then get on here and someone has gone out of their way to help you. You just don't see that shit irl anymore. Makes me sad.

Community is what you make it. Take ownership of it. Take pride in it. That way it spreads.
I confess I think about a lot of the different personalities on here when I am trippin. It can help through difficult times of a trip. Just know I am always sending good vibes to all.
I have thought about doing some sort of "psychedelic prayer chain" that people can post in before a trip and get good vibes sent their way. Just knowing someone is on your side can make a big difference.

am I the only one who associates people here with certain people IRL? it's kinda funny to think you know what people look and act like without ever meeting. that thread is a good idea. it'll help us keep each other sane and accountable for overuse
