How do I get out of a slump and back to being motivated? Been kinda down and I want to be back up.

Try a new Tek, maybe one of the small ones like shoe boxes or Faht sacks.

Sick of failing forward.
Back in my humble beginnings when still working in a sab I had left the sab on the kitchen table full of petri dishes cooling while I ran a couple of errands. When I came home my daughter had set it in the floor knocking over all the dishes inside. I was so devastated. I absolutely hated pouring plates when I worked in a sab
That made me feel a bit better. I just put them in a cupboard, not even wrapped...

No worries which species. I got quick recovery; pans are fast and definitely less forgiving. Thanks mushgods.

I confess I recently scraped uncolonized mold sporeladen grain off the top of a few blocks and spawned em anyway. I could smell the mold in the spawn and I used it anyway.
Today I just spawned a set of 8 non-moldy tubs. One even had invitro fruits, they were the oldest bags left from September's end. Feels much better.
I also confess I may have blown a bunch of bark into the wind with my chipper shredder. I didn't measure before I started and now I have less than I thought.

I confess (while we're on the topic) I recently G2Ged an old jar with invitro fruits just to see if it'd work. It did. I then spawned the subsequent shit and it worked too.

Get out into nature for a while, tripped or not.. for it always helps to get some distance from humanitys manmade madnesss..
And itś natural to have high and low times, i guess the important thing is to actually give some space to all those feelings when they come, pleasnt or not. And to not be scared to do some changes in how we live our day to day lifes, like training, eating abit better, change "friends", less crap input..
Todays confession:
ive prokrastinated the water buildup of some abit to Enthusiastic spraying in one of my tubs, And got a spot of whiteish fluffy moldish in a corner since its fruiing really nice i just drenched a knife in iso and cut a chunk away :P

Just got back and when I was setting up the space I got a rush when I pulled out the Parafilm. Such a strange love affair with it...

Damn, some pretty good shit in this thread lol
Got a bit too high on weed and prepped some plates anyways: poured the agar way too hot, hella condensation... Then I started wrapping with parafilm before they'd fully solidified so there's divets in the middle. Not to mention my shit sterile technique at the time... 1/3 of the plates have contamed with out being noc'd, no thanks to the condensation. Yep...

Confession: sure I experience anxiety before tripping.. who doesn't. Especially when I've been not tripping for too long..
2014 sounds like ancient history though. I wonder how this works. You're not alone. A lot of growers on here don't trip anymore but.. how do you know what your new stuff feels like etc? Got a worthless pesa clone I need to get rid of and apologize to ppl for rn, for example.. i know, bc I tried it myself.. how else would I know? I'd be stuck growing my trustiest clones forever.
And after all that time, it might be a blast to get back into it man! 5g of enigma should do it lmao.
J/k man. I've been out of it before but really, it's better to trip regularly (well for me at least)

When I was a teenager, my go to dose was an eighth. Now, I can barely handle a 2g dose. It's 50/50 whether or not I'm gonna have a bad time on mushrooms. Guess I got older and started worrying about bills and children and my damn employer calling me saying that they need me to come in. I also get a lot of anxiety during the come up.

well that anxeity on the comeup is at least for me the anxiety that i had stored thats going away..
From my perspective there are no bad trips, just hard facts about our self that can be be to much to handle in the moment.. If we/you/i do the job thats needed in regarding set n settings things will be more comfortable (this changes as our life progresses, so what worked in our 20ś will have to be refined as time goes along)
When you get the message, hang up ..

Yeah I feel like I tripped scince 2014 but I can't remember when. Last time was right after my mother passed away. All night all I saw where bugs and maggots everytime I closed my eyes, and that was enough for me.
Might be time soon Im thinking Nats, Pans or Playa... If I wait long enough I should have some Allenii next year.
