My wife got it and I'm not. I've got the vid twice and smoke a pack a day, so I'm not too terribly worried. As for my fellow citizens? Fuck em. They suck at driving and have opinions i don't agree with. But seriously, it's not a live vaccine and i haven't heard anything about immunocompromised people being unable to receive it, so it's just the flu vaccine now, got it.

That's why we decided not to get it. I've never even gotten a flu shot and I've only had the flu twice in my life.

I consider you guys my family. But if I were to die, how would anybody let you know? I wish we had an obituary thread that worked for everyone. But since nobody on here really knows me, if I die I don’t want everyone thinking I just quit cult lol. Or got locked up Like, when a well known cultivator goes belly up, how does anyone here find out? Because as far as I can tell, none of us, no matter how famous on the ‘ery, is actually well known by anyone else here

I carry a note in my wallet. It's addressed to my wife. Has my log in credentials and a message asking her to let everybody know.

But still, fuck man. That would have paid off my college, my truck, my credit cards, and got me a house.
Jeeeez you could have been living on a yacht right now growing some shrooms right on the ocean. Still never to late man. I've just recently been getting into crypto (wish I had like a month ago before EVERYTHING shot up) and it's been interesting.
Been doing a lot of research, you should check into XRP right now i've put 2000 into it because I believe it's gonna get to at least 5-10 bucks in the next year or so and its only like $1.50 right now. Cardano looks promising to.

Hey Crew I've been off the site for a while. I'm down in Nebraska helping my elderly in-laws with some health challenges they are facing.
I hope you are all doing well. I'll confess that I miss mush cult. I had set up 6 tubs before I got the call that I needed to come down here. I left the tubs in the care of an absolute noob. I am getting photos from her from time to time, but I'm worried that most of them will be lost or seriously underperform. They look pretty good so far and I'm texting her instructions on the regular so maybe they will do ok. Fingers crossed!

Welcome back Psilo! I'm sorry to hear you've been off of here due to having to help your in-laws but good on you for being a good guy and being there for them.
I hope your little noob doesn't mistreat those tubs or over mist them But maybe since you're letting them do some of the work they will learn and be your new helper from now on.

Since the site crash, I confess I've just been going thru the motions with cult... its getting to feel like a job almost... I've gotten everything pretty much dialed in so there's not much excitement anymore... I did just start up some Pan spores but I don't feel as excited for them as I once did... almost like I'm just adding more work to my pile of projects...
I've been growing weed the whole time I've been growing shrooms and now that I (feel like) know all I can about cubes im really starting to focus on learning everything I can about cannabis and its intricacies... I just don't wanna fall behind on the myco side of things but its hard without any external motivation...

That's why I took a break for awhile. To much like work. I got what I was doing dialed and it just became a job. I felt like a slave to grain and culture work.
Now I'm gonna play with lcs, bottles, and kits of gourmets

I took up gardening, growing micro greens, gave more attention to my cactus, put in a ton of overtime, fixed up an old truck, hiked alot more, and did alot of fishing/hunting/hiking/ foraging
I missed it a ton but it was nice

lol that’s funny man I’m in almost the same boat.
When the site was down I started reading weed forums and started my first grow. Summers pretty rough for mush cult where I’m at, plus it’s about time to downsize my shrooms for a minute after a solid 19 months of nonstop cult.
Gotta rotate the hobbies once in a while.
Weed is way more complex than I expected. Nowhere near as much as mushrooms but there’s still a lot to learn. Feels almost like when I first started out here.
Can’t wait for August/September

This is where I’d go.
https://www.cocoforcannabis.com/how-to-grow-cannabis-seedlings-in-coco-coir/
I started in soil until I realized that all the coir I have around for shrooms is actually made for growing weed
I was kinda iffy about doing a coir grow but it turned out to be actually easier than soil imo, plus the plants grow at least 50% faster from what I’ve been seeing. My coir is five weeks old and it’s significantly larger than my 7 week old soil plants.
Soil you kinda have to have a feel for what to do. Coir is like following a recipe, there’s zero unknowns because you’re mixing and feeding everything that goes in. Plus you can’t really over water coir, and it won’t get rootbound. You can grow monsters in one gallon pots but you’ll have to feed them 3-5 times a day or set up an auto system.
Just gotta get an ec/ppm and ph meter pack.
